The player from Canada is dissatisfied with the bonus policy. Since it seems that the player breached the maximum allowed bet and didn't provide any evidence to prove otherwise, we decided to reject this complaint.

On April 10th I deposited 100$ and received an additionnal 100$ in bonus which during my play did not use. Always used my own money as the amounts are separated on my playing account. At the end, my winnings were 4200$ with all regulations met that is: My deposit + bonus equalled 200$ x the 45 time playing rule which equalled 9000.$ After playing through the 9000.$ rule I had a winning balance of 4200$.

So I requested a withdrawal. April 18th- 8:44 am I received a letter from verifications@boocasino.com stating and I quote, " A number of bets were placed that were greater than 10% of the bonus credited to your account, this is not allowed so we have cancelled your withdrawal request and have voided your winnings".

Firstly this is an abusive clause, with no safeguard for customers to control bets. The site that I did bet BREAK DA BANK had a minimum bet of 5$ per bet. So I did bet the 5$ minimum approximately 6 times for a total overbet of 6$. The maximum bet being 4$ now that I know there clauses. So for 6$ overbet the casino is withdrawing my winnings of 4200$?.

I never used their bonus of 100$. In fact they took back this 100$ bonus immediately from my winnings. And now for some reason they have recently put 100$ on my account balance after withdrawing the 4200$?

To my minimal knowlege of the law this maximum 4$ bid which I overbid by a playing total of 6$ is hightly abusive when cancelling 4200$ in winnings.

Your analysis of my situation would be appreciated

Dear Beaumonsieur,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience. I checked the bonus T&Cs and I found this:

"4. Betting more than CA$4 per spin or 10% of the received bonus amount (the smaller of the two) on a slot game"

Our position is closely explained in Fair Gambling Codex https://casino.guru/fair-gambling-codex-for-casinos#max-bets: The max bet rule is, in fact, an industry standard, just as the fact that a casino has the right to seize the player's winnings from bonus play after breaking this rule. We prefer not to go against industry standards by penalizing casinos that use the maximum bet rule against players from time to time.

However, if you feel like you have been accused mistakenly, feel free to forward me your game history together with a link to the specific bonus that you redeemed and played. My email address is kristina.s@casino.guru.

If there is any relevant communication between you and the casino, please send it as well.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Kristina

WHAT? You agree with the maximum bet rule? If this is such an important rule why is the player responsible for adhering to it? MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THIS CLAUSE BEFORE BETTING! Where is the CASINO'S SAFEGUARD to ensure that customers don't overbet, if this is so important?? You and I know why! ITS A WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY FOR CASINOS NOT TO PAY WINNINGS! What an abusive clause and you know it as well as I do. Using this clause, in my case, to withdraw over 4,000.00$ from my account for a TOTAL OF 6$ OVERBET ON 9000.00$ OF PLAY. This makes sense to you? THIS IS NORMAL TO YOU?

Tell me that you agree with me but can't do anything about it, that would make more sense.

I don't have much time to live but this clause must change and replaced by a safeguard for future players.

Did I understand you correctly, " You prefer not to go against casinos who use this clause from time to time".We are not in 1741 we are in 2022? You don't want to ask the casino industry to place a safeguard on bonus accounts for overbetting? Why? You prefer that they have an open window to cancel 4000$ winnings on 6$ overbet? Are you really A CASINO GURU operation? The casinos have your company exactly where they want to! They run your operation. WOW they must be happy to have you. No safeguards for customers when overbetting. Wow! I can't beleive your attitude. What are you in business for to help casinos?

THIS EMAIL (lawful document) was sent to Boo casino sunday, April 24th at 10:33AM. So now as you are supposedly there for players? What is your reaction?

WOW! DECIDED TO READ AND COPY YOUR REGULATIONS AND CLAUSES

THIS WEEKEND. I KNEW GOD WAS WITH ME .

This was sent to my lawyer who agreed 150% that your retention of my 4100$ is unjustified and he read it himself. Cost me money but it was worth it. He states that we need the money in my bank account by interac this wednesday. He states that this could cost you between 15,000$ and 25,000$ if not deposited as requested.

I deposited 100$ at Boo Casino april 10th and received a bonus of 100$

As one knows who has played this site before the cash money deposited 100$ and the bonus money 100$ are shown separately to the player on each bet. Thus cash money 100$ and bonus money 100$. During my play after a serveral winnings I played on the game BREAK DA BANK a minimum bet required of 5$ for approximately 6 times and was lucky enough to win 160$. Seeing as this is an expensive game,I decided and won 160$ I decided to play less expensive games. All this time any gain or loss is always shown on my cash account while the bonus account remains at 100$. Too make a long story short and after a while had played the required monies for a total of 9000$ and 9000 spins to be able to withdraw my winnings in an amount of 4200$. The agent told me, before processing my withdrawal request that seeing as the bonus money of 100$ was never used they would have to take back the bonus money of 100$. Which I finally agreed upon. Therefore my winnings request was changed to 4100$.

To my surprise I received a letter from Boo Casino dated April 18,2022, 8:44 AM stating that I had violated their bonus policy by betting more than 10% of the bonus money.

I told them that the bonus money was never used and never came into play. The bonus money never went up or down because of bets on their site. In fact, the only changes for these bets was on my cash balance only.

If one reads in detail (which i did every phrase, sentence and paragraph) there are two separate categories in their regulations and clauses. One as general information and one as BONUSES. Its only in the bonus category that is mentionned in detail the restrcitions of playing bonus money.

This never applied to me because NO TIME WAS THE BONUS MONEY USED NOT EVEN 1 CENT. Every transaction was entered in the MY CASH AND DEPOSIT CATERGORY. As I said before they wouldn't have been able to withdraw the bonus if it had been played even once. So Boo Casino is in fact confirming that the bonus was never used. Therefore the BONUS regulations don't apply here.

In summary their own detailed regulations prove that their was no fault in my play and owe me at least 4100$.

ps Please don't tell me that my money and the bonus are combined. There regulations and clauses and there separation of both amounts when playing prove the contrary. This is not my interpretation it is a fact.

Thank you for your reply, Beaumonsieur. I understand your frustration and of course, we would like to see casinos implementing systems that would prevent players from placing higher than allowed bets, but, unfortunately, this is not standard practice yet. You were not stopped or blocked when you decided to increase your bet, and, as a result, you breached the maximum bet rule.

Sadly, there is not much I can do to support your case at this time. I would strongly recommend reading all the T&Cs carefully before you start playing to avoid any misunderstandings in the future. Casinos try to design their bonuses to be as attractive as possible, but the rules must always be followed. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything else, I could do for you in this matter, otherwise, I will be forced to reject this complaint. Thank you for your understanding.

Your sentence that Casinos won't adhere to a safeguard is so stupid. Guru casino should put the outmost pressure on them and have whatever association who legislates them to adhere to this safeguard. Your refusal to handle this, which is your duty as a supposedly watchdog, shows that their is no use for you. You are in bed with casinos. They love you. WOW WHAT A WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY FOR CASINOS TO KEEP PLAYERS'WINNINGS! THE WORST THING IS THAT YOU SANCTION THIS LOOPHOLE. I will never understand this???Continue to put your head in the sand as if you can't do anything to protect players.

Do you know how much money casinos make using there maximum bet clause that have no safeguards for overbetting???? Certainly in the 6 figure minimum and YOU DO NOTHING? YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!!!

Please note that I have given you the opportunity to provide me with your game history so that I could see for myself who is right and who is wrong. Which you didn't do. Moreover, please understand that we always try our best to help whenever we can, however, in some instances it is not possible to stand on the player's side and this is one of them. The only thing I can do for you is to recommend that you read the Bonus T&Cs next time.

Unfortunately, after gathering all the necessary information we are rejecting this complaint as unjustified. Sorry we were not able to help you with this one, but please, do not hesitate to contact us in the future, if you run into any issues with this or any other casino and we will try our best to help.
