As we accept the casino can close the player's account for any reason, we were forced to reject the complaint.

I wish to make a complaint. And that complaint is regarding you people calling me to reopen my account (which you did do) and then emailing me stating you have set a £150 deposit limit on my account. I replied with that's fine. I then deposit £100 for the first time ever to place a football bet, only for you people to email me stating you have closed my account due to not gambling responsibly? How on earth does your reason for closing my account make any sense whatsoever when I have never deposited before, placed any football bets before, played any live casino games before, or any slot machine game before. And all because I have NEVER once deposited before. You people must be smoking weed. Because you clearly are not making any sense. You seriously need to be investigated. And I believe should be drug tested on a weekly basis. Now return my deposit of £100 ASAP.

"7.3 Suspension by Us for safer gambling
(...)Where We, acting in good faith, have reason to believe that gambling may not be safe for you, We may, where We consider it appropriate, suspend Your account with immediate effect. Upon suspension of Your account, any remaining funds will be returned to You.
While Betway endeavours to honor all bets placed by Customers, if Your account should be suspended for safer gambling reasons, Betway may void any bets placed after a decision is taken."

and this:

"7.6 Consequences of closure
Any balance in Your account at the time of any closure under this section 7 will be paid back to You,(...)"

Could you please advise if the deposit appeared in your casino balance prior to the casino deciding to close your account? Have you contacted the casino in order to ascertain what will happen to your funds?

Thank you for your reply. I deposited £100 to place on a football bet. But I was having trouble placing it. So I then went to go on chat. But that does not work. I was then logged out. I tried to login but got the message blacklisted. But like I said, I have NEVER used betway before. I was called by them. And was emailed to confirm that they have put in place a £150 deposit limit. And that my account is now good to go. My account was then closed after making my first deposit. Doesn't make any sense as to why they decided to close my account having spoken to me and emailed me? I did get my £100 just now. But I want to know from them the real reason why my account was closed. Thank you.

Similar to your other complaint, I am afraid we won't be able to help, for the same reason.

If the casino didn't confiscate any funds, there is nothing for us to investigate further regarding why your account was closed. This is because we accept the situation when the casino can close a player's account at any time. I am sorry for the bizarre experience and that we couldn't be of more help with the issue.
