Amulets of Horus takes on the classic slot theme of ancient Egyptian myth and culture.

Two enormous avatars of Horus stand on either side of the reels swaying menacingly in the courtyard of an Egyptian temple. In the foreground, two obelisks tell a cryptic tale in hieroglyphs, and in the distance an elaborate pyramid dominates the skyline.

Amulets of Horus is a five-reel slot with three-rows. Due to the anyway wins system it employs, there are effectively 243 win lines. However, the base game has a feature where individual reels can increase the number of symbols up to five, meaning there is a maximum number of win ways of 3,125 (should all five reels end up with five symbols on them).

A cascade system triggers when the player wins, removing the winning symbol and allowing new symbols to fall down onto the reels from above.

During each spin, three Boons are randomly selected on a set of reels below the main game. If the player triggers a second cascade, the first boon is also triggered. Each subsequent cascade triggers a new Boon.

The boons have various effects. Some apply multipliers to the player's wins, some trigger free respins, some simply pay out a fixed multiple of the player’s bet, and one increases the number of symbols on some of the reels. Each Boon comes in several forms with a range of values. For example, the free respins Boon can give the player anywhere from four to eight additional spins.
