I searched for casinos open to US players, and multiple sites listed that 7bit casino allowed US players. When I went to sign up there were no restrictions and they accepted my deposit after I created an account. I played several games and ended up with winnings of 24 btc. When I went to look into withdrawing and figuring out what I needed to do to do this, my account was closed. I emailed them trying to sort things out and I was told that they do not allow players from the US to have accounts or play at their casino. I asked for a refund of the deposited money and that I felt I should be entitled to the winnings I had from the deposit I made and the only response was that my account was closed and I could not access it anymore. Yet, they continue to send me emails advertising their casino and offering bonuses, etc. I was trying to search for what I can do about this and came across your site.. Hoping maybe you guys have some advice or ideas for me.. Thanks so much.

I would like to emphasize a very important fact from our Fair Gambling Codex

"The right thing to do is to check for restricted countries during the account creation process and to not allow players from restricted countries to register and play. If the casino knows about restricted countries and also knows the player's country of residence, it's not a big issue to enforce this rule.
If the casino allows a player from a restricted country to play because it hasn't implemented this check, it should accept that it was the casino's mistake and pay out all winnings to the player despite the fact that they shouldn't have been allowed to play in the first place, provided that the player hasn't done anything else that's against the rules."

 

Since the website is not blocked for the United States and there is a possibility to register an account from a restricted country and deposit funds, as only an email address and password are requested upon registration, I would like to ask you if you completed any other verification or was requested to enter country of residence while registering. I didn't find any similar option on the website.

I’m not sure if I had to do any other verification, and my account password was shutdown so I can’t see it now. My deposit was $25 and my winnings at the time that they shutdown the account was 24.? Btc. I’m not sure exactly how that translates to dolllars but I know it was a decent amount so it was pretty discouraging when they said us players are not allowed and closed it down. But they had to problems taking the deposit. Any other site that doesn’t allow us players won’t even let me make an account, pretty shady business practice on their part: thanks for looking at this situation
