Unjustified complaint

REJECTED

Case summary

The player from Japan had claimed that the casino misrepresented the RTP of a game, which was noticeable when he was playing. He had provided evidence of the game's RTP being advertised as 102%, and his results did not align with this. The player had wanted compensation if it was proven that the RTP was inaccurate. However, we concluded that the casino's display of the RTP for a short time exceeding 100% and advertising it as such did not equate to a long-term guarantee. As the RTP was now displayed as 99%, we found no grounds to penalize the casino. Consequently, we rejected the complaint as unjustified.

Shortly after opening, the casino listed the RTP of the original game as 102%.

However, when we actually played the game, it was clearly fraudulent.

(A 102% RTP on a crash game would always result in a successful cashout at 1.02x, but in reality it would fail.)

If you investigate and find that the RTP was fraudulent, we would like to be compensated for the bets made during the fraudulent period.

(If the actual RTP was 99%, the user receives 3% of the bet)

After the claim has been published, an image of the evidence will be attached.

This image shows the original game icon shortly after the casino opened.

As you can see, it is officially advertised by the officials themselves as being at 102%.

This is a picture of the actual play.

As you can see, a 1.01x history exists.

If the RTP is 102%, then a 1.02x cache-out must surely succeed, but the actual play results in a 1.01x cache-out failure as well.

By the way, 1.01x in history is 1.00x in a typical crash game. The evidence is that if the 1.01x cash out setting is 1.01x, the game has failed.

A fair crash game should not change the RTP no matter what cache-out settings are used, which is obviously ridiculous.

The casino only claims that the RTP is 102% and provides no proof of this, I suspect that they are lying to create a buzz immediately after opening.

Even for a casino guru, it is obviously suspicious that a casino would officially advertise a game with a 102% RTP that is not a glitch.

Thanks for your input.

After internal discussion, we again decided against upholding the case.

The way the casino displays the RTP of a game for a short time as exceeding 100%, and advertising it as having this RTP set in stone for the long-term is different.

The way the casino displays a ribbon with RTP is inconsequential. For a reasonable observer, it is clear the casino can't uphold the above 102% RTP long-term.

Casinos often display RTP of a game, but unless they present it as RTP set for the long term, we would advise you to be careful in making any decisions based on the number displayed.

Also, there is a possibility the RTP was displayed mistakingly due to a human error, that was rectified later.

Since the value is displayed as 99% RTP, this doesn't present an issue we can hope to resolve or penalize the casino for ex-post.

If you wish to discuss the fairness of any games, you are free to do so on our forum, but this is not something our complaint resolution center can hope to resolve.

Consequently, the complaint will now be rejected as unjustified. Thank you for your understanding, I am sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into issues with any online casino in the future.
