The player played with a bonus but her winnings were canceled due to a breach of the casino’s Bonus T&Cs. We rejected the complaint because the player breached Bonus T&Cs.
The casino refused to pay out my winnings as it said that I placed bets above the maximum amount while I had an active bonus. The terms and conditions are not clear and you have to read them all very carefully to know about the maximum bet rules
Dear Elissa,
Thank you for contacting Casino Guru. I’m sorry to hear you lost your winnings. It is very common for casinos to limit the winnings from bonuses and implement other restrictions like the maximum bet rule. The casino can form their own T&Cs and set their own rules for the game play, especially when it comes to bonuses. If you broke the maximum bet rule, I’m afraid, there is not much that can be done. Which bonus exactly did you play with?
Best regards,
Yuliia

Hi,
I have checked general bonus terms and conditions, and this is what I found:
Players are allowed to place single bets lower than 20% of the total value of the Active Bonus credited and should not exceed 8 EUR, 8 USD, 8 AUD, 8 CAD, 80 SEK, 80 NOK (as applicable). Therefore, placing a bet of 8 EUR while there's an Active Bonus of 100 EUR in effect is considered acceptable practice.
I agree with you that it would be much easier for everyone if the casino just wouldn’t let players bet more than maximum bet instead of cancelling their winnings. Unfortunately, not all casinos support this feature and players have to read and follow the General and Bonus T&Cs instead. I’m afraid that, if you breached the casino‘s T&Cs, there is not much we can do. I hope that it will not happen to you again.
Best regards,
Juli
