The player from the Netherlands is dissatisfied that the casino allowed them to create an account despite the fact they are from a restricted country. The casino decided to refund the player's deposits. Since this was the expected outcome for the player, we marked the complaint as resolved.

the casino is illegaly operating in the netherlands .in their terms they state that the will not process deposits or withdrawals from restricted countryies .i was able to sign up ,deposit with crypto and lost 700€ .games are scam.chat is slow as hell .before the first problem is solved they ask can i help you with something else .amatures only for the money .they closed my acount due gambling addiction .way to late after robbing me .it is time these casinos block every country that is restricted instead altering the terms in their favour .this is not respectfull towards players .there are a few on curacao wich think they are above the law .

Dear jano1075,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience. We accept the situation when the casino allows players from restricted countries to open an account as long as they don’t use this as an opportunity to later cancel the player’s legitimate winnings. Simply said – if the casino allows players from restricted countries to deposit and play, they should pay out their winnings as well. Moreover, I don't agree that someone who willingly and personally deposited funds in their accounts has been "robbed" by the casino as you claim.

Therefore, I would like to emphasize, that we investigate further and help only those players, whose funds (or winnings) have been confiscated due to being from a restricted country. Nevertheless, it doesn’t seem that this is the case here (but correct me if I am wrong, please).

Hi Kristina,

in other words you are saying we support casinos to take restricted countrys !?what about stand up and punish them for doing this .yes i am robbed see my previous complaints robbed by curacao casinos who alter the RNG results to scam the players from restricted countrys .5 or 6 casino same paterns impossible to profit .only time you can win is a real live game all others are crap.you as a gambling platform respected my country regulations and blocked the netherlands .why should casinos can go away with it .there are a few who ghink they are above the law and keep taking free money with out license and taxes .i would see really that casino guru wil stand up against this kind of fraud and punish them .there is a reason players looking outside to play because they have excluded themselfs from gambling and these casinos destroy that will and bring them in bigger problems .if the casino state in the terms that the country is restricted then it should act like that and block the country .this is pure fraud .all deposit option are blocked and the casinos keep finding another way so player can deposit .with out crypto i will not be able to deposit and play .i hope the crypto will banned too .how can you take a casino seriously if they breach their own license and terms .how can you trust their games if they breach their license .who can proof me then that the games are fair ?last time i talked to a chat member in a casino it was his first day .i told him about my concerns about the games he immidiatly told me that the games are fair .i mean how you know that?asking for proof for years only thing they say is just look on the site .i am done with gambling .taking my mondy and lying is disgusting .i think vavada should consider to refund my deposits .i had no play at all .and they are illegal in my country.altering the terms in them favor makes it more fraudulent .if casinos state in their terms country restriction and i cant enter the site then i will not be able to deposit and play and move on .these company responsibility is a joke .i will make sure they will be blocked here .benefieting without paying for license and taxes is criminal.we al have to pay taxes for our incomes they are no different .

I understand your point of view, but as I said, casinos can accept players from restricted countries as long as they don't use it as an excuse to confiscate their winnings. Of course, the best way to avoid this is to block such players automatically. However, some casinos cannot enforce it on a software level, and in such cases, the correct approach would be to pay the player's winnings and close their account.

Moreover, if you created your account and lost your deposits by your own choice, we don't think you are entitled to a refund. You could lose your money/deposits the same way in any other casino. I am sure that if you won more money than you deposited, you would want your winnings to be paid out, and not deposit refunded, am I right? I am sorry but have to approach each similar case equally - if the player from a restricted country lost their deposit, they are not entitled to a refund, and if such player accumulated winnings, the casino should pay them out and close their account.

In this case, I can only recommend that you do more thorough research before creating an account and only play in casinos that accept players from your country.
