Case summary

The player from Austria has two accounts with the same operator, L.C.S Limited. After closing the Taikaspins account and applying for self-exclusion, the player requested to withdraw €702 from the Scibet account, which included €402 in winnings. However, both accounts were closed, and the winnings were confiscated despite the operator's policy stating that winnings would be paid out in such cases.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Brief Overview:

2 Accounts on different websites but owned by the same company (L.C.S Limited)

Betting providers are (Scibet & Taikaspins)

  • I had the Taikaspins account closed.
  • There was €702 on Scibet, comprising €300 deposit & €402 winnings.

  • The Scibet account was also correctly closed, but the winnings were not paid out; instead, they were confiscated! The winnings were earned before the exclusion!

On 06.01.2025, I registered with the betting provider Taikaspin and intended to deposit €100 via credit card to bet on a football match. Credit card payments were not possible, only bank transfers. I deposited €100 and then noticed that the money would only be available the following day. Therefore, since I wanted to bet on a specific match (Salzburg-Bayern), I opened an account with Scibet (unaware that Taikaspins and Scibet are operated by the same company L.C.S Limited) in the hope that a credit card deposit would be possible. This worked! I deposited €300, bet on the game, and had €702 in my account afterward.

Summary: 2 Accounts

Taikaspins (Deposit by bank €100)

Scibet (Deposit €300, Winning €402, total €702)

Everything was always conducted without a bonus!!!

The next day, the money was also in the Taikaspins betting account, but I didn't want to verify the account and lost it quickly. Well, I decided to close the Taikaspins account & withdraw €702 from Scibet. Here’s what I did:

Applied for a self-exclusion on Taikaspins.

Verified my Scibet account to withdraw €702.

What followed was peculiar: They immediately closed my Taikaspins & Scibet accounts. (Okay, I understand that in a self-exclusion, all affiliated betting sites are closed!)

However, the remaining €702 on Scibet was confiscated! I was told, "We confiscate the €402 winnings and refund your deposit." But why? It is clearly stated on the website that all winnings will be paid out in the event of a self-exclusion.

I request assistance because I genuinely earned those winnings legally! Due to a self-exclusion on the partner site, my winnings were confiscated! No one could properly explain why; the deposited euros were just returned.
