The player from United Kingdom wishes her deposits to be reimbursed since the casino doesn’t hold UKGC License. After a closer examination, we rejected this complaint as unjustified.

This casino is what I would class as a rouge casino.

Not only are they allowing U.K. players without a UKGC licence but they don’t have any licence that is shown.

this is not my main concern what is, is the game I played by Microgaming.


After reading information online I started to think something wasn’t right as it stated that Microgaming games are only accessible to U.K. players if they hold a UKGC licence.

this casino does not.


i decided to contact Microgaming and ask them.

they confirmed this and stated it is the casinos responsibility to restrict U.K. players from playing their games.


what is worrying me is that would a well know name such as Microgaming allow a casino with no licence to use their games?


I have sent all this information to the casino but they replied by sating that I agreed to the licence when signing up.


i have asked for their licence number and under which jurisdiction but they are completely ignoring me plus I did not agree to playing a game that I should have been restricted from.


i have asked for my deposits to be refunded as my game play is void as they broke the T&Cs if Microgaming, if they are actually genuine games.


please can you help as they are not responding to me.

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. Please understand, that UKGC license is necessary only for those casinos which want to operate on UK market (targeting the UK) but if the casino does not target the UK market with their commercials (do not offer GBP currency, bonuses for UK players, etc.), they can accept UK players, they are just not protected by UKGC.

Here is an example, that could help you better understand our standpoint:

You are from the UK, and in the UK people drive on the left side of the road - that's the law. In my country, people drive on the right side of the road. But we are not building special roads for UK citizens because their laws say people should drive on the left side of the road.

And the same principle is applied for the UKGC license - you are working on the UK market; you need to follow the UK law. Unfortunately, as you can see in our review for Marvel Casino https://casino.guru/marvel-casino-review, they operate without an official license.

Unfortunately, in this case, we are not able to help you and you have no right for refund of your deposits. I can only recommend you to do better research next time and play only in the casinos licensed by UKGC. This casino did offer bonuses to me?


I mentioned in my first post that this wasn’t my concern, my worry is the game I played by Microgaming.

i have email confirmation from Microgaming stating that It is the casinos responsibility to restrict U.K. players if they do not hold a U.K. licence, this casino has violated the T&Cs of microgaming, but I just don’t understand why Microgaming would allow their games to be used at a casino with no licence at all.
