Jokers Jewels Wild is modeled on classic one-armed bandit fruit machines with a Joker-themed twist and some extra bling. Instead of cherries and lemons, the reels sport juggling batons and curly shoes.
The simple theme is played out nicely with the generic symbols given over to jewels and the general clean lines of the slot giving the player a simple and easy world to engage with.
This slot will appeal to fans of classic simplistic slots that come with a more modern feel.
The graphics for Joker’s Jewels Wild are clean and simple. The symbols are drawn with a nice cartoon style and the animations are also simple.
The music is a circus-inflected track that some players may find rather annoying after a while. Luckily, there is always the mute option and the rest of the sounds are pretty classic slot machine noises.
The overall vibe is of a classic slot machine with very few surprises. However, that is largely because this style works well and has proven itself over time.
Jokers Jewels Wild is a five-reel slot. Each reel has three rows and there are just five win lines on which the player can land winning combinations.
Jokers Jewels Wild has a very simple set of gameplay mechanics (it doesn’t even have a bonus game!). This is in keeping with the classic tone of the game.
The maximum win on any given round cannot exceed 1,420x the player’s bet.
The Wild symbol substitutes for all other symbols except the two Scatter symbols. The Wild always expands to fill any reel it lands on, making for many more ways to win.
There are two Scatter symbols. The Special Scatter pays out for landing three symbols (you can land on each on reels 1, 3, and 5.
The Bonus Scatter pays out for three or more symbols anywhere on the reels. Although it is called the Bonus Scatter, there is no bonus game. This symbol simply has the biggest payout at 100x the players bet for five symbols.
The return to player of Jokers Jewels Wild is 96.58%, a fair bit over our yardstick for an average of roughly 96%.
The range of bets on the site we tested ran from a minimum bet per spin of $/£/€0.05 up to a maximum of $/£/€250.00 per spin.
Jokers Jewels Wild is a medium volatility slot. This means it won’t work very well with our preferred slot machine strategies. Instead, we prefer to use high-volatility slots. Ideally, they would have a very high RTP too, so this slot doesn’t really fit the bill.
Overall, this is a pretty good slot game with simple mechanics and a straightforward presentation. If you want all the bells, whistles, and bonus games, this is not the slot for you.
Our biggest problem with the game is its medium volatility. This doesn’t work with the slot strategies we prefer to use. However, if this doesn’t bother you, then you might enjoy this slot.
Players will enjoy the simple gameplay but might miss some of the variety more complex slots can deliver.
