I think they are making that much money out of it that its in their interests to avoid anything messing things up with their payments etc etc and to keep a clean reputation to hook more in but yes a better sort of rogue than the rest but still illegal and causing misery to us and ive read reports of them blocking accounts when they win 5 or 6 figure sums and using clauses etc to get out of paying plus their withdrawal limits mean you can never get a win out at once
I saw that as well like limited to x amount daily and monthly. Agreed they should all be held to account and if we couldn’t open accounts then we wouldn’t would we, the protections are in place for a reason as we are all heavily addicted to this. I can’t see how the Government cannot instruct the web providers to block these illegal websites.
Yes meaning if you win big you can never get it all out at once because they know you will lose it all again it looks like a lot have been blocked but they just add on a 1 or 666 or something like that to get past it I am convinced these are rigged games as its always the same patterns you get a win then nothing and it eats up the money then I was hitting £20 bonus runs and £30 and getting £200 back in fact I won more on £1 bonus games
I only ever did sports betting but the cancel withdrawal always led me to to lose it all eventually, any UK licence are not allowed to offer cancel withdrawal with the new safeguards that came in a few years back
Ok I was always slots not just the cancel withdrawal but even once that was cleared they did it saying we need to check this or that in fact one time they started doing it I had £3000 and ended up getting to £9000 but obv I never got it as then they said you cannot withdraw by card just now there is a problem it needs to be crypto eventually you end up losing it all ! another trick is they let you open another account and take lots of deposits then if you win big they block the account and say you breached the t&cs I have seen it all !
I had one site LuckyBarry that took plenty of deposits as soon as id managed to win something they asked for id for verification and pic of me holding it. I send my driving licence they cancelled it and told me they only except passport. They wouldn't pay me over a thousand in winnings and told me id have to order a new passport to get verification done and get my money. I've never heard so much shit in all my life..
Yes Radka this is why we have all this transaction laundering and fraud going on I think the government needs to step in it is too hard for the banks to stop it I know your only a casino review site and help solve disputes with sites maybe you could add a warning on the sites review to help but it may not be possible
Hello everyone,
I’ve recently lost excess of £30,000 on goldenbet.
I was already signed up on GAMSTOP but as this is offshore, it allowed me to sign up.
Ive already started my gambling recovery but due to this I’m now in severe debt and attempting to recoup any money I lost.
is anyone at all able to support me on this? Has anyone received a refund from goldenbet?
chargebacks to the bank for the random merchants they process transactions through?
im really unsure where to go with this, but I’m adamant Goldenbet has no duty of care, owing to its local license, but I’m unsure what grounds I can use to get money back.
also : I spent the majority of my money on pragmatic play slots, especially sweet bonanza and gates of Olympus. When last trying to play, it said the game was not available in my jurisdiction (UK) I emailed to ask what this meant and they said it’s not available for me.
how? Surely this is a flaw as I lost all my money playing those.

I understand it makes sense to add a warning from the other perspective; it won't help much because, due to UKGC regulations, we are only allowed to show you reviews of UKGC-licensed casinos. Which, in my opinion, suggests that no one - especially vulnerable players - should register elsewhere or outside the UKGC license.
Though I know this sounds great written somewhere, yet the reality is hard and chellenging. Placing a warning on casinos outside any national license reach just to say they are not licensed in your country is not necessary, in my opinion, because every casino review provides the license.
I feel the actual problem is the urge to play despite being on Gamstop. The only casinos left for such vulnerable players are these without (the official, legit, or whatever word you prefer) access to the market, so here come the shell companies and improper merchant codes. That's my view.
Do the chargebacks thats a horrendous amount ive lost a lot more but its big figures just read the forum posts for guides you will win them easy
Well yes that is it we are addicts and seek out poorer answers to feed the habit but these sites are like the evil dealer trying every trick to get you to part with money flooding you with texts etc selling details to the dark web rigged games you name it could go on all day ! and they would take £500000 from you if they could no questions asked
Hi Paul, thanks for replying mate, I really appreciate it.
the thread seems huge and I’m new to this site, but signed up as it seemed a great place to talk to others.
my concern I my deposits were made ranging from £100-2000 over a 1 month period mainly, followed by another month trying to win back (typical addiction) (again, I’m in recovery now)
I deposited through Monzo, and I’m not sure how to do the chargeback. Wouldn’t they see the amount of deposits and know it would be made from me? What angle do I go ahead with, that they shouldn’t have let me gamble, that the games I played on then later showed as not being allowed in my jurisdiction?
I even have emails of me begging for bonuses from goldenbet during my worst times, clearly showcasing problem gambling, cancelling withdrawals etc. at no point did they step in
They should not be operating in the UK though Radka bottom line ! how hard would it be for them to put a block in place the fact is they are targeting the UK as they know of the gambling restrictions and checks in place
