Unfair Payout Practices at Online Casinos?

Is it fair for online casinos to break up large winnings into small increments, even if it's stated in the terms and conditions?

I recently won at RedDog Casino, but they are splitting my payout into installments ($300-$500) due to their "player level" policy. This feels unfair and inconvenient, especially considering their claimed revenue.

Have others encountered similar payout practices at online casinos?

Should review sites like Casino Guru delve deeper into payout processes, especially for larger wins?

Additional concerns:

Lack of clear explanation for "player level" classification.

Unsecure verification measures involving email for sensitive documents.

While I still enjoy the gameplay, this experience raises questions about fairness and transparency. What are your thoughts?

Hi!

"Should review sites like Casino Guru delve deeper into payout processes, especially for larger wins?"

Well, we can if you submit a complaint about it.

Frankly, considering the payout speed is not included in the safety index, I feel you might be disappointed.

The way I see it, our safety index focuses on the probability of the withdrawal only. I'd say it is not within our power to be constantly in touch with this matter.

So, to cover potentially challenging situations players may experience, there is the complaint feature. Designed to help, based on this principle:

The higher the safety index, the bigger the chance the casino will address the player's issue to keep the index as high as possible.

I'm not saying this is perfect; we just haven't found a better approach we could maintain in the long run for every casino.

Hi. I have submitted a complaint about it. However, I understand where you’re coming from. There’s so many bad online casino practices out there— unfortunately the standards are held so low. Moreover, I appreciate the work and efforts Casino Guru put into creating a safety net for vulnerable players that get taken advantage of. Thanks for clarifying the safety rating, I wasn’t sure how that was calculated!

You're welcome, we're glad when we can at least try to help players who are in a difficult situation.

If you would like to read how our team reviews casinos, you can do that here if you would like some more information.

Anyway, I noticed that you have filed a complaint and if you are unsure of what to expect in this case, this guide will answer it for you

I hope this will be resolved as soon as possible and you will get your money.

If you have an update, let me know how your case is going.

Good luck. ☘️

Hey Jaro,

Just an update on the Red Dog Casino payout mess. Things haven't improved much:

Still stuck with the $500/week payout for my $5400 win, even though Bitcoin withdrawals are usually way faster.

They keep citing this "player level" stuff I don't remember seeing before, feels shady.

Billing department's been unhelpful, customer service can't really do anything, and requests for a supervisor got ignored.

Feeling frustrated and disrespected, even though I've been polite and patient.

Hoping you can still help with:

Understanding this "player level" thing and its impact.

Getting someone higher up to listen and answer my questions.

Negotiating a fairer payout schedule.

Would really appreciate your input, this whole thing's a hassle!

Thank you for your update.

As for your situation itself, I'm sorry it hasn't gone anywhere. You'll probably still have the weekly limit, so it might not change much there, since they keep quoting the same thing.

Regarding the support, the finance department will probably have something to do with the withdrawals, so in this case I would understand that the chat people can't help you.

I also understand your feelings and I know it's not a comfortable situation, but as mentioned in your complaint we give the casinos 14 days to resolve this process. If nothing changes in that time, then our team will investigate further and see where this goes.

I hate to say it, but we will have to continue to be patient and I firmly believe that everything will turn out for the best in the end.

Positive update! After several emails with the Billing Department, my withdrawal request for $1500 has been escalated to upper management for review. I initially struggled with getting any clarity on my declined withdraw requests, but this escalation feels like a good step forward.

My question for you: In your experience with Red Dog complaints, have you seen a common trend in outcomes when issues reach upper management? I'm staying patient and have been proactive, and while Red Dog is paying me what I'm owed, the timeframe is concerning.

For more context, around the 14 day threshold. I started the verification process on the 1/22… and got my first withdraw 1/26… the second one was 2/2.. moreover, my point is, isn’t that over 14 days? I see I have one day left on my complaint to be processed, that’s why I’m more curious into how this works. Thanks for your help.

So that's good news and I hope you will get more positive ones about your withdrawal as soon as possible.

As for your question, there are not many complaints that have been solved lately, because the players stopped answering. I found one similar but more to the limits you mentioned which has been solved.

Overall, the casino has only one unresolved complaint and a pretty high safety index, so I firmly believe that everything will turn out fine in the end and what is important now is to be patient.

I have already posted a guide in my previous reply where you can find out more information about the complaint process and what to expect. I will do so again and you can find it here on this link

Each side has a week to respond, which is why you see a timer. Within that time, a response is always made and if a party fails to respond, the timer is extended by another week. However, since Kristina has told you that 14 days is the period that we give to the casino, she will get back to you soon, since it is almost the end.

Regarding your next question, if you have already solved the verification and your two withdrawals have already arrived, then the time from the next withdrawal is counted. I hope I explained it well but if you have any questions, feel free to ask. 🙂

In conclusion, it is important that online casinos are transparent and clear about their terms and conditions and payout processes. If you are not satisfied with the answers or if there is any ambiguity, you should consider contacting customer service for more information and possibly consider other platforms where transparency and fairness are considered paramount.

Agreed. We have rights as players. We put money on the line to play with a chance to win, and once we do win, we deserve the right to be treated fairly and paid out in a timely and reasonable fashion. It’s on me but trusting the reviews on this casino, however, I was pretty convinced by the 8.9 rating and also I did see multiple other articles stating they had "lightning fast payouts" which is nothing further than the truth. To touch on customer service, I’ve reached out so many times they say "it’s always a pleasure to chat with you again Austin" I’m a very relaxed and reasonable person, however it has been one of the worst experiences with a casino, in regards to communications and deflection from the billing department. It’s seriously the most frustrating thing I’ve ever been apart of. However, the game play, is incredible… if they could just be reasonable and work with me I would have this be my only casino I play at. They just keep stating player level but won’t ever answer my questions as to my specific player level findings and how they came up with it….. they lead me on to believe next payout I’ll recieve the full amount, just to make me wait 7 days and decline my withdraw and adjust it to a fraction of my request. Transparency is everything to me, and I deserve to be treated with respect as does every player putting their money at risk to play with, we’re human too!!
