Search doesn't show all casinos?

So I'm searching for eg; casinos available to .au players with match bonus over 300%.

Although Golden Lady (an admittedly terrible) casino meet this criteria it doesn't show up in search results.

Are results filtering casinos below a certain score out? If so then should that not be a customizable search filter?

Thanks 🙂

Hello shamwow511,

Could you send us a PrintScreen of how you set the parameters, please? Did you choose tab all casinos? I tried to check and everything looks ok.

Oh, no I was using the default "available to you" tab, as I thought any other tab would imply that the casinos weren't available to me, is that not what that means?

Hello there.

I tried that too, and I think the results are somehow strange. 🙂 I didn't find the Golden Lady's 1st deposit bonus among the results, though I admit I just browsed a few first pages.

Interestingly the results seem to be sorted by a very unique order. I found 150% among 300% or 500%, so from my point of view, the order is not working pretty well.

I got 375 pages for all deposit bonuses in your database - excluding ones with free spins attached, I believe this concrete bonus is somewhere there, though I didn't spot it.

I set the filters as follows:

filefile

And got this:

filefilefile

Does not feel right.

I'll let that get checked. I understand this is not very helpful at the moment, yet we have to find the issue first.

So, thank you for your keen eye.

I'll let you know what I find.

Yes I noticed the order seems to be out of whack too.

Would be good to know the difference between the All and "available to me" tab, because it doesn't seem to be what you'd assume.

And also ideally be able to filter by rating.

I see, allow me to explain:

"All" includes "All online casinos in our database" good or not particularly good ones 🙂.

On the other hand, "Recommended" shows "with a Good or better reputation":

filefile

It's actually written there. Filter the rating sounds good👍, I'll make a note.

Thanks, any idea why sorting by Biggest Value doesn't seem to work?

While we're looking at it, I think a great filter would be "remove duplicates" when searching bonuses.

So that each casino shows up only once in the results.

Might be asking a bit much though 🙂

I had to ask our internal testers and now it seems the algorithm is showing the results based on unknown preferences 😁. I don't have a better answer.

There is a scheduled team-building ahead of us, I intent to uncover how it really works and suggest a more user-friendly filter to be created. Something like a variation to the wagering preferences:

What you suggested sounds perfectly reasonable, but I feel it is not so easy to show only one bonus from each casino, since it's still a list of bonuses. Maybe showing only the closest result per casino according to concrete preferences would be the way - I'll ask, I promise. Could you remind me next week, please? I fear I will be overwhelmed and could use some hints 🙂

Thank you

Sure no problem, I'll have a think too about the best way to implement it.

Hey there!

Thank you for being in touch. Sadly, I couldn't meet the one specific person I needed, but I asked and currently waiting for a reply. Hopefully, I'll get advanced insight soon.

Update: There's still an outdated algorithm applied however, the latest version is in development and should be released in April.

Any progress on this?

It would also be great to have a bit more granularity with the bonus % slider, as it jumps from 200-500%
