Yes finshark was an payment option similar to trustly for a little while before It got removed as an available option. I used it during 2023-10-03 to 2023-10-30

I think instant banking deposits are another thing as they technically haven’t broken any rules or laws or used incorrect codes. Morally its wrong of course cause they offer those services to unlicensed gambling websites, but I think it can be hard to get any refunds.

They have closed my account because they think I have abused it when I applied for a refund through Revolut for the card payments.

Is it Revolut that have closed your Revolut account? Is that what you mean?

Unfortunately, Revolut is not really consumer friendly either.

Well, technically they could have been processed as whatever, but we would have no idea as these kind of transactions just gives an ID on the statement but nothing more. So they could been procssed as whatever, but still gone to gambling, just harder for us to find out.

Games Artifact on my statement.

I contact these and they actually processed refunds for me, just 2x75 and 1x129 euro, but still.

So if anyone else has their name on their statement, you can try.

Exactly, because they thought I violated their rules due to misuse of applications for refunds.

Pay them out the funds you had in the account?

The account is not closed immediately, but takes a few weeks, it is stated in the app when it is closed.

To clarify, I now saw that it was not your account, but you should be careful not to contact revolut directly then in guess, even if it only applies to more info about the transaction.. is what I interpret it as

Thank you for your reply. I am shocked to hear this as I thought that Revolut was acting in the best interests of its customers.

I'm curious to see how they proceed in my case. I also initiated a chargeback a few days ago and I'm afraid I'll suffer a similar fate to you.

It's really shocking that the casinos get away with it and you as a person are pretty much powerless to do anything about it.

I see, yea, they don't really care about the consumer, just money. Take no responsibilities for merchants breaking terms and report this to Visa and MasterCard, which they probably are required to do. But it seems in general, as a consumer, we have 0 protection when it comes to literally anything, especially as soon as it leaves our countries border.
