Hi Paul sorry to jump on this post am I reading correctly you went to the ombudsman and they supported you in making the bank reclaim the funds? Were these all card payments or transfers too?
im thinking the ombudsman is my only hope now! Glad you were successful
Hello! I have some ongoing on Revolut and its been 36 days now, they have passed first stage and now they in the stage that they lift it up with merchant, i got refund before with other and it took 32-33 days, but those still nothing ob those and its 36 days, Do i need to worry or will i get them?

I had began contact with omsbudsman when they started doing them so I told him its ok they are doing them now no doubt they probs had to or I would have won the case and then they need to pay out plus an interest fee but that takes longer so I was glad it was done quicker there is no harm in raising with him first though the bank also advised me to use him if not happy with the outcome as well,

That’s a shame but even the card payments would be a help. I’ve contacted the bank on and off since July, some departments tell me I’ve got a good case for getting a dispute for the transactions then when I get through to disputes/fraud they throw it straight out of the window. I’ve contacted action fraud, who couldn’t understand why the bank won’t act upon my case too. They’ve told me to contact the ombudsman but I don’t know if I’m wasting my time even more 😩 absolutely chuffed that your bank helped you. I’ve searched my bank provider name on the thread and can’t see any successful refunds with them.
I would do the ombudsman if chargeback complaints have not done anything at your bank they will end up doing them as they know they will lose Meg
The banks seem reluctant to help, hopefully if enough of us keep on at them they will start to assist us more. VISA/Mastercard state that in their terms that incorrect data is cause for chargeback, I would be very surprised on it failing as these companies would need to admit to bypassing it.
I reported Wintermads to ARN and in the complaint they stated that they sold me Digital Art and that they do not act as intermediaries for illegal casinos. Of course I have all the evidence to the contrary and therefore ARN will understand that they have made a false statement.
Has anyone else appealed to ARN?
Ho denunciato Wintermads ad ARN e in fase di reclamo hanno dichiarato di avermi venduto Arte digitale e che loro non si prestano come intermediari di casinò illegali. Naturalmente ho tutte le prove del contrario e quindi ARN capirà che hanno dichiarato il falso.
