Case summary

The player from Michigan had his withdrawal confiscated due to a violation of the max bet rule at Drakecasino. He had placed a bet of $73.50, exceeding the max bet limit of $25. We explained to the player that the max bet rule was an industry standard and that the casino had the right to seize winnings if this rule was violated. We had requested the player to provide his game history and the specific bonus he had used for further investigation. However, the player did not respond to our messages within the extended period of 7 days. As a result, we were unable to investigate further and had to reject the complaint.

They confiscated my money !!

Dear Daniel,

Thank you for being a client at Drakecasino.eu.

We noticed that you have requested a withdrawal. However, when we

reviewed your game play we noticed that you broke the max bet rule in

session 16803079 where you have placed a $73.50 bet. The max bet rule

states: All bonuses have a minimum dollar value of wagers that must be

reached before you will be permitted to withdraw. This is referred to as

the "wagering requirement". Unless stated otherwise, when playing with

bonus money, you may not wager more than $25 per spin in order to clear

your Wagering Requirement.

You can see the rule here: https://www.drakecasino.eu/promotionrules

We have made an adjustment to your account balance and the fulfilled

rollover. Both of them were returned to the moment you broke the rule.

You will be able to request a new withdrawal once you fulfill the

rollover points. Keep this max bet rule in mind while wagering with

bonus funds in the future.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us at any time.

Kind regards,

Eric

Dear danielbarcy,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience. I checked the bonus t&c in the casino and I found this:

All bonuses have a minimum dollar value of wagers that must be reached before you will be permitted to withdraw. This is referred to as the "wagering requirement". Unless stated otherwise, when playing with bonus money, you may not wager more than $25 per spin in order to clear your Wagering Requirement. This includes double up wagers and gamble features. Drake Casino reserves the right to void all winnings if a player bets over the max bet amount.

Our position is closely explained in Fair Gambling Codex https://casino.guru/fair-gambling-codex-for-casinos#max-bets:

The max bet rule is, in fact, an industry-standard, just as the fact that a casino has the right to seize the player's winnings from bonus play after breaking this rule. We prefer not to go against industry standards by penalizing casinos that use the maximum bet rule against players from time to time.

However, if you feel like you have been accused mistakenly, feel free to forward me your game history together with a link to the specific bonus that you redeemed and played. My email address is tomas@casino.guru

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Tomas
