The player from the Netherlands had requested a permanent account closure, but the casino had still allowed the account to be reopened. The player claimed that he had explicitly requested a full closure with no option to reopen. However, we had clarified that unless a self-exclusion due to gambling addiction was requested, the account could be reopened at any time. The player's account was simply closed as he did not mention gambling issues or addiction. We had advised him to specifically request self-exclusion if he wished to permanently close his account in the future. The complaint was closed as the matter had been explained to the player multiple times.

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. Please allow me to ask you a few questions, so I can understand the whole situation completely. Could you please advise what reason you have given when requesting to block your account?

Please, let me explain you what the difference between closing the account and self-exclusion is:

Some casinos use lots of tools for responsible gambling and I would not mention them here. What players can do if they’re unhappy in the casino: Close the account or self-exclude themselves, those are the two basic choices.

 

Closing an account is simple and has almost no impact - the player can reopen account anytime, and casino has no obligation to the player.

 

On the other hand, self-exclusion does. If a player successfully makes a self-exclusion, the casino agrees not to open this account or if yes only under particular circumstances (after cooling off period and this cannot be done for players who are addicted/with gambling problem).

I gave them the reason that i blocked the account because i wanted like u see in the first email after that asked it was done and replied with 2nd email i want a full closure with no option to reopen it. They closed it now after i asked them in the chat why they did not protected me and they say we see u got gamble issue and now we permanent close it but when someone ask for a full closure with no option to open it they just ignore it

As I've explained in my first post, unless you request for self-exclusion due gambling addiction, you are allowed to reopen your account anytime.

Please be sure to mention it to the casino otherwise it will be simple block and reopen at any request to do it.

We will be now forced to close the complaint as the matter has been explained multiple times. Your account got simply closed as you did not mention gambling issues or addiction and in that case, the account may be reopened any time by simply requesting it.

Please do as advised above if you wish to self-exclude yourself from the casino or any other casino in the future.
