Case summary

The player from India encountered repeated deposit demands after signing up for a referral bonus, despite having wagered more than $1800 and earned over $2 million. After an initial deposit of $50, the player made a total deposit of $130 and was then asked to make another deposit of $80 for withdrawal approval. The Complaints Team concluded that the player had joined a fraudulent website impersonating the legitimate Vavada Casino. The player was advised to refrain from making any further payments and to report the incident to the authorities for investigation.

I signed up via a referral with free net bonus, wagered more than $1800 and earned more than $2 million of which cash out was unlimited as mentioned. But I had to make an initiatial deposit of $50 after which I can withdraw any amount as per the customer support. After the deposit, withdrawal didn't happen, instead I had to make another $80 deposit after which withdrawal would be approved. But Now I am being asked to make another $80 deposit. Is this a joke??

Dear Vila,

Based on the screenshots you provided, I must inform you, that it's our conclusion you joined a fake website pretending to be the legitimate Vavada casino.

Legitimate online casinos will require only a single verification deposit per payment method.

Asking for additional deposits to pay for fees, higher VIP status required for a higher withdrawal limit, deposits to pay for taxes, or similar reasons is a tactic used by scam websites. I am afraid we can only advise you to stay away and not pay any more fees.

To assist you further in avoiding such situations in the future, we have compiled an informative article on how to choose a secure online casino. You can find it here: https://casino.guru/how-to-choose-an-online-casino

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide direct assistance with your current predicament. We advise you to report the incident to the police or a relevant legal authority for further investigation and potential resolution. Your cooperation with the appropriate authorities will help prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.

I'm sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into issues with any online casino in the future.

Best regards,

Tomas
