Wish Granted: Hold & Win is an Arabian Nights-themed slot from Betsoft Gaming. The slot is loosely based on the classic Aladdin story, with allusions to Jasmine and the Genie, two iconic characters from the tale.
Betsoft Gaming has not strayed far from the Arabian blueprint for the Wish Granted slot game. The slot has a fairly simple design, with the reels bordered by two giant, grandiose pillars and a stunning sunset taking place in the background.
A character inspired by Jasmine stands on the side of the reels, but she remains static throughout the gameplay. The slot is not the most imaginative and lacks the visual flair of something like Aladdin and the Sorcerer, which did an excellent job of bringing this world to life.
The soundtrack is exactly as you would expect, with an Arabian-Nights-inspired tune playing as you spin the reels.
The base game for Wish Granted: Hold & Win keeps things quite simple. The slot uses a 5x3 grid, with 243 ways to win active on every spin.
Everything you need to control the game is on the control panel beneath the reels. The stake is adjusted using the +/- buttons and the autospin and information buttons are all located here. None of this changes when you play the Wish Granted mobile slot.
The titular Hold & Win bonus is the main feature in the Wish Granted slot. This is triggered when you land six or more Bonus features on a spin. These will then lock in place and three respins are awarded. All standard symbols are removed and only blanks and Bonus symbols can land. The Bonus symbols will display either a multiplier or a Jackpot. Whenever a new Bonus symbol lands, it will stick to the reels and reset the spin count.
The Mini, Minor, and Major Jackpots are worth 15x, 30x, and 200x your stake, respectively. These will pay out whenever they land. The Grand jackpot, which is the biggest win in the game, is worth 2,000x your stake and is rewarded if you fill the reels with 15 symbols. The round ends when the spins run out, or the reels are full.
Another bonus is the Wild Nudge feature. The Wild symbol is represented by the Genie, and it appears stacked on reel 3. If it only particularly appears, it will nudge up or down to fill the reel. It will display a multiplier of either x2, x3, x5, x8, or x10.
If there is no win formed with the Multiplier Wild, a second chance triggers and a respin is rewarded.
Finally, there are Stacked Mystery Symbols on every reel. Whenever these land, they will reveal a random matching symbol.
Wish Granted does not offer huge wins. The maximum win in the game is 5,000x your stake, meanwhile the Grand Jackpot awards 2,000x your stake.
The RTP of the slot is a disappointing 94.01%, which puts it significantly beneath the industry average of 96%.
Wish Granted: Hold & Spin is a fairly middle-of-the-road slot game that does little to stand out from the competition. The low RTP means it goes against our recommendations in our slot strategy guide, and the maximum win of 5,000x your stake is solid, but it is still not enough for us to recommend the game when factoring its low RTP.
