Step into a murky world in the enthralling, crime-themed slot After Night Falls 2.
The Betsoft Gaming title follows on from the original incarnation. Detective Rousseau is on the case as he gathers evidence to find out who is behind a diamond heist.
Those players seeking something a bit darker may be intrigued by After Night Falls 2.
After Night Falls 2 moves away from the dark underbelly of this game with a smooth track.
Jazz tones can be heard, and this isn't necessarily in keeping with what players would expect from this type of game.
Betsoft Gaming has provided sleek visuals to capture the mystery. Sparkling jewels and gramophones, for example, are backed up against a disused garage.
In the background, smoke passes through the night air as the getaway vehicle, with its doors flung open, reveals glistening diamonds.
The impressive visuals and audio provided for After Night Falls 2 help to raise the tension.
The action for this slot takes place on 5 reels and 3 rows, and there are 25 fixed paylines.
Players can capture wins by landing at least 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right.
The human characters in this game are the highest paying regular symbols in this game, providing returns of 10x your wager for a 5-of-a-kind combination.
After Night Falls 2 is stacked with features, including the Hold & Win feature. By snagging six or more bonus symbols, or five bonus and a boost symbol, you can activate this feature and get your hands on the following prizes:
The feature comes to a close when respins run out or all 15 positions are locked. Players who lock all 15 positions on the grid are granted a Grand prize of 10,000x your wager.
A Mystery bonus symbol can appear during the Hold & Win Feature. This is transformed into a random prize, but it adds an element of surprise to the game, either through awarding a fixed prize or enhancing other locked values before a final payout is revealed.
Scatters can appear only on reels 2, 3, or 4. 3 scatters are required to get access to the Free Spins round, and players are awarded 8 free spins. During free spins, all low-paying royals are removed from the reels.
After Night Falls 2 offers a maximum win worth 12,000x your wager.
The Return to Player (RTP) figure for this title nudges at 96.06%. Games with a greater RTP are more attractive as players, on average, tend to receive more returns on their bets in the long term.
After Night Falls 2 has a small betting range, going from $/£/€0.25 to $/£/€30 per spin.
This game carries a high volatility, meaning it meets our criteria for slot machine strategies. Highly volatile games can provide less frequent but bigger wins, making them an enticing proposition.
We think you should give this crime-themed, high RTP (96.06%) slot a closer look.
Apart from a high volatility rating, After Night Falls 2 is a suspense-driven game stacked with an array of exciting bonus features.
With a strong win potential tagged on, this game should keep players locked in.
