The game is set at a colorful funfair, with lots of treats like cupcakes in the background. Your friendly local candyman even appears at the side of the grid, tempting you with sugary snacks. Throw in a jaunty soundtrack with plenty of jingles and jangles, and you've got yourself a really fun atmosphere.
The symbols on the grid all look seriously delicious. There are donuts, macarons, jellybeans, cookies, and other yummy treats to look out for. You'll get a payout when at least five of the same symbols touch each other horizontally or vertically anywhere on the grid. The cookies and chocolate pay out the most scrumptious of all wins.
The Tumble feature kicks in after every spin, removing winning symbols from the grid so that others can land in their place. Tumbles continue until there are no more winning combinations left.
The Wild symbol can appear anywhere on the grid, and it substitutes for all symbols except Scatters and Chests.
If a winning combination contains a Chest symbol, the Chest will transform into a Money symbol with a random value of up to 500x your bet. The Money symbols don't disappear as part of the Tumbles, and after each Tumble the Multiplier will increase.
Hit between four and seven Scatter symbols anywhere on the grid to get into the Free Spins round, where you'll get 10, 12, 14, or 16 spins, depending on the number of Scatters. Money symbols resulting from Chests stay on the reels until the end of the special feature, with their Multiplier increasing by 1x with each Tumble.
You can play Sweet Craze for between $/€/£0.20 and $/€/£240 per spin – just use the options at the bottom of the screen to adjust your stake value. The maximum amount you can win on Sweet Craze is a cool 10,000x your stake amount.
The theoretical Return to Player (RTP) percentage is 96.54%, so it sits above the industry average of 96%. The game is highly volatile, so wins are a little rarer than you might like, but at the same time, they tend to be bigger than on lower volatility games.
Sweet Craze is a fun game to try if you're into candy-themed slots. While the maximum win of 10,000x isn't necessarily the biggest, it's still about mid-range, and although the features aren't groundbreaking, they do offer potential for some nice wins. Our favorite feature is the transforming Chest symbols, where you could bag some sweet, sweet Multipliers of up to 500x your stake.
