Plunderland is themed around the literary classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
Players will enter a dreamy setting and meet iconic characters, such as the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, and the Red Queen. Alice herself is the star though, wearing a signature blue dress as she guides players through the fantasy world.
This slot is a great choice for fans of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (or fans of the Disney film Alice in Wonderland) or players who are simply in the mood for a relaxing atmosphere.
The ethereal soundtrack upholds the fanciful vibe of Plunderland. The reels spin to a series of tinkling notes, adding some magical flair.
The animation is of moderate quality with an aesthetic comparable to a 2000s video game. Players look down from above at a green garden where Alice is peacefully reading on a picnic blanket. She seems not to have a care in the world as she smiles and turns pages.
Meanwhile, on the reels players will see a friendly Mad Hatter looking dapper in his purple hat, and an intimidating Red Queen in a golden crown. Other symbols take the form of roses and other flowers, adding to the garden atmosphere.
Beyond the reels, delicate white clouds float by in the blue sky. This reinforces Plunderlands dreamy, calm mood.
Overall, the animation and soundtrack create a pleasant interpretation of this game’s literary inspiration.
Plunderland is a seven reel, seven row slot.
Players are awarded wins by landing clusters of at least 5 matching symbols.
The Cascade feature means that symbols that form winning combinations vanish from the reels so that new symbols can fall in from above to replace them.
Players can buy directly into the Free Spins if they wish. See more details on this feature below.
The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols when evaluating wins.
The White Rabbit Wild symbol appears on the reels for each spin. Whenever players land a cluster win, the White Rabbit gets closer to a designated position, where it expands.
The White Rabbit Wild symbol expands to at least 2x2 and at most to 5x5, at which point it forms its own win cluster. When this winning cluster vanishes, a new White Rabbit Wild appears at a random position.
The White Rabbit Wild has a multiplier that increases whenever it forms part of a cluster win.
The Free Spins feature is triggered when players gather 3 Scatter symbols throughout a round. Whenever players land Scatters, they are collected and saved.
During the Free Spins, the White Rabbit Wild multiplier and expansion properties are persistent throughout the feature.
The return to player of this game is 96.43%, above our yardstick for average of roughly 96%.
The range of bets on the site we tested ran from a minimum bet per spin of $/£/€0.10 up to a maximum of $/£/€100 per spin.
