Ride the rails once again in the thrilling Wild West-themed slot Money Train 5.
Relax Gaming has opted for a more brutal post-apocalyptic setting, where robots and bandits come into contact.
The vibe contrasts with other games in the celebrated Money Train series, but the stakes remain high nevertheless.
A stirring, cinematic-style soundtrack plays throughout Money Train 5.
The classical notes heighten the tension and give a sense of the impending danger that is about to follow.
Relax Gaming's graphics, unsurprisingly, are incisive and polished, and the symbols are encased in metal piping.
The action takes place against the backdrop of a derelict industrial city in a desert, featuring rusted cars and an abandoned oil tanker.
Overall, the graphics and audio effects sync up nicely to depict the foreboding nature of this title.
Money Train 5 covers a 5-reel, 4-row grid, and there are 40 fixed paylines attached.
Wins can be assembled by landing at least 3 matching symbols across connecting paylines from left to right.
The higher-value symbols in this game are represented by the game's four characters, and the Necromancer supplies a 20x payout for a 5-of-a-kind win.
Money Train 5 is enriched with features that are split into Standard and Ultra Modes, which have an impact on win potential. However, it's worth bearing in mind that Ultra Mode has a higher maximum win ceiling than Standard Mode.
During a base game spin, a Nuclear Wild can activate randomly. Once triggered, crosshairs lock into position. They can target up to 5 reels and plant nuclear bombs across the reels. When forming winning combinations, nuclear bombs can detonate into full Nuclear Wilds.
Landing 3 or more Bonus Scatters grants access to the Free Spins round. Look out for the Ticket Master here, as he can contribute to triggering Super Free Spins. Once in, the triggering Bonus Scatters reveal a bet multiplier prize and serve up 3 free spins.
By landing special symbols, this can entail some of the following benefits:
Money Train 5 has a maximum win ceiling of 50,000x your wager in Standard Mode, but this jumps to 100,000x in Ultra Mode.
This game holds an above-average Return to Player (RTP) rating of 96.10% which makes it appealing. Games with higher RTP offer players a higher expected return on average on bets placed in the long term.
The minimum bet available is $/£/€0.10 per spin, while the limit is set at $/£/€20.
Money Train is deemed highly volatile, aligning with our slot machines strategy. Players can still score serious wins betting small amounts, albeit less frequently.
Although Money Train 4 was supposed to be the last game in this celebrated series, Money Train 5 doesn't disappoint.
Relax Gaming has brought its signature graphics to this game, and the two modes, especially the Ultra Mode with its 100,000x win ceiling, are highly appealing.
Throw in an above-average RTP (96.10%) and a high-volatility rating, and this game has star power which we think players will appreciate.
