Get ready to dive into a world of wins when you play the Mermaid's Treasure Trove slot game by Pragmatic Play. As the name suggests, the game is set underwater, and you'll be guided along the way by a beautiful mermaid.
The graphics are crisp and vivid, with plenty of animations to keep things interesting. Look out for shimmering fish, swimming lazily through ruins and colorful seaweed waving gently in the current.
As for the soundtrack, it's pretty laid back and relaxing. You'll hear a bubble effect when the symbols land, and some winning symbols have their own unique sounds. The mermaid might even speak some words of encouragement every now and then.
Mermaid's Treasure Trove is played on a square grid of seven reels and seven rows. There are no set paylines, and you'll get a payout when at least five of the same symbols are connected horizontally or vertically on the grid. High-paying symbols to look out for include the crown, the treasure chest, and the harp, while clams and starfish symbols award smaller wins.
Once a win has been paid out, winning symbols disappear from the grid to make way for new symbols to land in their place.
The Multiplier Wild symbol can substitute for all regular symbols, but not the Scatter. Multiplier Wilds appear as a result of a winning combination that doesn't already contain one of these special symbols. Every time it's used in a winning combination, the Multiplier increases by 1x and the symbol moves by one position. Paying symbols can also carry a random Multiplier of up to 100x.
The Mermaid Scatter symbol can appear anywhere on the grid, and if you land 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 of them, you'll get 10, 12, 14, 16, or 18 Free Spins, respectively. During Free Spins, the Multiplier Wild symbols remain on the grid for the duration of the round.
You can play for a minimum of $/€/£0.20 per spin up to a maximum of $/€/£240, and there's potential to win up to a maximum of 10,000x your stake amount.
The volatility of the game is high, which makes it a very exciting option as wins tend to be a little bigger than you might expect. The Return to Player (RTP) percentage is above average at 96.54%, so it also gets our stamp of approval.
While the gameplay mechanism isn't exactly groundbreaking, and the theme has been done plenty of times, Mermaid's Treasure Trove has some exciting features.
