Double Fortune is another Asian-themed slot game, but thanks to a mobile-friendly format and a generous maximum win, it doesn't feel boring. The visuals are simple but striking - you'll see a beautifully-dressed man and woman at the top of the grid, decked out in their traditional Lunar New Year garb.
Like other PG Soft games, Double Fortune has been designed for mobile play. If you'd prefer, you can enjoy the game on your desktop, but we'd recommend a phone instead.
The soundtrack really makes you feel immersed in the game. It's made up of traditional Asian music, with happy laughter and chatter layered over the top - as if you're at a big celebration.
Double Fortune comes with five reels, three rows, and 30 fixed paylines, which are active whenever you spin. The aim is to get matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right on one of the paylines to trigger a win. The gold ring, lucky red envelope, and high heel pay out the most, while you'll get smaller wins for landing A, K, Q, and J symbols.
Double Fortune comes with two key special features: Double symbols and Free Spins.
Double symbols can land at any time, and if they're part of a winning combination, they'll count as two symbols. Wild symbols can substitute for any non-double symbols, excluding the Scatter and the Double Wild.
Land three Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 to receive eight Free Spins. During Free Spins, you'll see two sets of reels on the screen, which will spin at the same time. If both sets of reels have at least one payline win, the winnings for the whole spin will be multiplied by eight. You'll also get one extra Free Spin for every Scatter symbol that lands.
The minimum bet amount is $/€/£0.90 per spin, and you can go as high as $/€/£270 a go. The maximum you can win on Double Fortune is 100,000x your stake, which is extremely high for a non-progressive slot game. Double Fortune is highly volatile, which is great news because it generally means wings tend to be a bit bigger, making for exciting gameplay, plus the RTP of 96.22% is above average.
The maximum win of 100,000x alone is enough to make Double Fortune worth a spin. Plus, the Free Spins round is exciting thanks to the extra set of reels, and you never know when you might get lucky enough to land that 8x Multiplier. If you're a big fan of mobile games, you won't want to miss out on this one.
