You’ve tried the original Big Bass Bonanza game, plus the Megaways version and even the one where the fisherman goes to the races. And now, if you’re looking for something fresh and exciting, you can play the latest game in the Pragmatic Play series, Big Bass Reel Repeat.
This five-reel slot has had a glow-up compared to the other slots in the series. The visuals are a lot more crisp and modern. The background is fully animated, featuring schools of fish, bubbles, and waving fronds of seaweed. The soundtrack is a bit more dramatic than the previous games, giving the vibe of an 80's cop drama.
Big Bass Reel Repeat comes with 10 fixed paylines, which are active every time you spin. To trigger a win, you need to land at least two of the highest-paying symbols (the speedboat) or at least three of the other symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, on one of the paylines. The dragonfly, tackle box, watergun, and fish are the high-paying symbols, while the A, K, Q, J, and 10 pay out smaller amounts.
The Fisherman Wild symbol can appear on all reels during the Free Spins round. He can substitute for all symbols except the Scatter and the Money symbol.
Hit three, four, or five of the Big Bass Scatter symbols to trigger the bonus round, where you’ll get 10, 15, or 20 Free Spins, respectively. If only two Scatters land, you’ll get an extra chance to get a third one via a special feature - a Scatter might move down a position and trigger a Respin, or another Scatter might appear randomly.
You can also turn on the Repeat feature, which gives you a chance to start the bonus round all over again, once it’s ended.
During Free Spins, special Fish Money symbols can land, each of which takes on a random value of up to 5,000x. The Fisherman Wild collects the Money symbols from the grid.
Before the Free Spins round begins, you’ll get to pick one of 12 cards to reveal Modifiers for the round. For example, more Fish Symbols or higher Multipliers. Plus, even more special features can randomly trigger during the Free Spins round, like Fisherman or Money symbols might be added after the reels stop spinning.
The Return to Player (RTP) percentage of Big Bass Reel Repeat is 96.51%, which is slightly lower than some other games in the series, but still above average. And as the slot has high volatility, you can expect slightly bigger wins than usual.
Big Bass Reel Repeat has a minimum spin value of $/€/£0.10 and a maximum of $/€/£250. The maximum you can win on a single spin or during a single bonus round is 5,000x your stake amount.
