Alice: Time Rift drags players into a dark and twisted version of Wonderland.
This spooky fantasy-themed game created by Thunderkick provides a steampunk reinterpretation of a city fractured by time itself. Meanwhile, the White Rabbit acts as the kingpin in this dystopian world.
Thunderkick is known for its bold and quirky themes, and Alice: Time Rift gives something for players to sink their teeth into.
Moody and menacing is the best way to describe the music used in Alice: Time Rift.
A tense piano beat plays throughout, adding to the game's gloomy atmosphere.
Special attention has been paid to the graphics. The symbols pay homage to the Victorian era, while the time-bending elements underscore the "rift" angle of this slot.
The symbols sit in a gold-tinged frame, while smoke billows out onto the derelict streets.
Overall, Alice: Time Rift's audio and cutting-edge graphics give this game a distinctive look.
Alice: Time Rift consists of a 5-reel, 3-row gaming matrix along with 10 fixed paylines.
Wins are engineered by landing at least 3 matching symbols across a payline.
Unsurprisingly, Alice is the star attraction, and she is the highest-paying of the regular symbols, offering a return of 50x your bet.
Alice: Time Rift boasts well-integrated features that tie into the time warp theme. The Time Rift symbol acts as the Wild and Scatter. As a Scatter, it can trigger the Free Spins round when you land 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels.
During the Bonus Game, retriggers award extra free spins:
Sticky Respins are activated when players form a win containing a Time Rift symbol. All winning symbols and any Time Rift symbols stay locked while the remaining symbols respin. The feature finishes when no new symbols are added after a spin.
Exclusive to the bonus round is the Expanding Wins feature. An Expanding Win is awarded when the Selected Symbol lands on 3 or more reels. If 2 or 3 Selected Symbols land on the same reel, a 2x or 3x multiplier will be awarded.
A maximum win of 7,500x your wager is available for this game.
Alice: Time Rift holds a Return to Player (RTP) figure of 94.10%, falling beneath the desired industry target. The drawback of low RTP games is that your bankroll is likely to be depleted faster over the long run.
Players must wager at least $/£/€0.10 to spin the reels, while the top limit stands at $/£/€100.
This game has a medium volatility rating, meaning it provides a modest rate of wins. However, our slot machine strategies prefer highly volatile games. Higher volatility games are attractive, as players can extract big wins by betting small amounts, even if less frequently.
Alice: Time Rift stands out with its powerful gameplay mechanics.
Expanding Win and Sticky Respins are cornerstones of this game, and will keep players motivated.
Thunderkick is renowned for delivering incisive graphics, and this title's darker side means it won't go unnoticed.
