Enter a mysterious world and unearth secrets in the Ancient Egyptian-themed slot Temple of Akhet.
Thunderkick has thrown itself into a popular motif. This game revolves around Akhet, an important season in the Ancient Egyptian calendar, centering on rebirth.
If you've played other similar Thunderkick games, such as Tutan Kha-Boom, then Temple of Akhet should cater to your whims.
Temple of Akhet carries a stirring and slightly ominous soundtrack.
A rich blend of harps and percussive instruments raises the game's atmosphere, and it's worth keeping the audio on.
Thunderkick has provided some incisive graphics, whereby the mystical reels are positioned before a towering pyramid flanked by two solemn statue hounds.
In the background, palm trees sway against the reddish-colored sky, illustrating that something foreboding could happen.
Overall, the stylish graphics and illuminating soundtrack add authority to this title.
Temple of Akhet is a 6-reel, 5-row game, using a Scatters pays system.
Wins are triggered when players collect 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the reels.
With Scatters pays, winning symbols are removed from the grid. New symbols drop in to fill the void, creating cascading wins with a single spin.
The Pharaoh is one of the highest-paying symbols in this game, providing a return worth 25x your bet for landing 20+.
In this game, both the Golden Scarab Wild and the Sun Disc Wild substitute for all regular-paying symbols, except for the Scatter. If a Golden Scarab Wild is involved in a win, it triggers the Sticky Respins Feature, while if the Sun Disc Wild is involved in a win, it triggers a Multiplier Ladder upgrade.
The Multiplier Ladder can increase without a set maximum. It starts at 1x, and the next step is 2x. After that, each multiplier value counts as one step, and each new value is the sum of the previous two.
Don't overlook the Bonus Game. Landing four or more Scatters activates this feature and awards 12 Free Spins, along with an additional two per Scatter. During the Bonus Game, landing three Scatters serves up five Free Spins and an additional two per Scatter.
The maximum win for this game is 10,000x your wager.
The theoretical Return to Player (RTP) rate for this game sits at 94.19%, dropping below the industry average. With lower RTP games, players can expect a lower average return over time, making them less appealing.
Players can spin the reels from $/£/€0.10, while the top limit is set at $/£/€100.
Temple of Akhet is a high-volatility game, fulfilling our slot machine strategy remit. Highly volatile games give players a chance to claim bigger wins without having to sacrifice too much of their bankroll, but large payouts may not arrive too frequently.
We think this Ancient Egyptian-themed game offers plenty of thrills.
Temple of Akhet offers high volatility, and the style is a typical watermark of Thunderkick games.
The RTP is simply too low for us to recommend the game, but the cascades offer extra chances of payouts from a single spin, which might make some players wish to give it a try.
