Non game stop companies

Hi I believe these new non gamestop companies should be banned. They offer no protection for problem players and I believe some of them to be a scam. They have found a way to let people gamble who shouldn't be gambling. They abide by no laws and you are not protected. If they don't want to pay winnings they simply don't.

I feel gambling is a serious problem and these sites shouldn't be available.

Hi. Unfortunately, right now, there is no such thing asn Gamstop where you can put restrictions on playing for problematic players all over the world. These casinos do not have a UK license and should be avoided by players from your country. I know that it is not easy to not play at these casinos if there is no protection for you to not enter them, but on the other hand, I don't want to believe that they are targeting players with addiction.

I completely agree that not all of them are out to target problem players I just feel that some advertise responsible gaming but without having to enforce it which I completely disagree with.

I believe if a player reaches out stating a problem and you advertise responsible gaming the account should be excluded. Unfortunately this isn't always the case they seem to ignore your requests. Why ? Can only be financial gain Unfortunately.

But again agreed not all are in this category but I've seen it with a few of these now.

I also can't help but feel the advertising of "non gamestop" is reaching out to players who may have a problem, players who have made that big step to realise their problem and contact gamestop.

Hi Jonny, I'll answer you, I just opened a complaint yesterday because I have been under treatment with a psychologist since November 2023 for gambling addiction, I seriously risked losing my house, I ended up in court, I was helped by my parents who, by paying, canceled the sentence otherwise I would have found myself with my girlfriend and my 3 cats outside the house without a place to stay, I activated self-exclusion from casinos forever, yet from 10 July to 18 July 2024 I fell back into it via a casino that still let me allowed to play, after months of not doing so, I lost everything again, I signed up to the casino in 2022 with the same email and verified with the same telephone number used for national self-exclusion (the casino has the possibility of operating in my country so it seems incredible to me that he was not excluded there too given that they had the email and telephone number details, unfortunately I don't remember if I had done the complete KYC that year), I had requested via private message and self-exclusion via live chat shortly after the first eviction received, as the casino does not have its own self-exclusion function, unfortunately I was not listened to, I found the door open a few days ago and I fell for it again, now I cannot pay the rent and I'm already 10 days late, I've increased the appointments with my psychologist but I feel cornered, full of shame, I continue to live with anxiety in my stomach and the fear of having to relive everything. It's easy to say just avoid them but it's not that easy for a problem gambler.

When you check reviews on other platforms they mostly give them a thumbs up but will not mention the dark side.

I know it won't be easy, I was sure I was finally out of it, but it was enough to see an advertisement on that casino's website to get in, discover that I could still play, and get all my money taken away again.

There should be strong gambling laws that companies abide by.

Could you look at contacting your bank and try getting a gaming block?

It's easy to say but I try thinking before a bet or deposit, am I going to win? Have I won in the past? Before depositing a sum or feeling the need to gamble put that sum in a separate savings account and see what you have after a year. You'd have that financial fulfillment that's worth more than any bet.
