POLL: What Level of Decision Making Do You Enjoy At Casinos?

Would you rather play:

1) a game that has little or no decisions to be made [other than betting strategy] - like slots, baccarat, andar bahar

2) a game with many choices on how to play, but the odds are not effected - like roulette or craps

3) more complex games with decisions that effect the house edge (such as good basic strategy [not card counting] bringing down the house edge and poor playing raising the house edge sometimes very high) - like blackjack, 3 card poker, etc.

4) just a variety of games because you enjoy them all as entertainment

5) simplicity / complexity does not matter because I want to win and will play whichever game has the lowest house edge at the moment.

I will start by saying it is a challenge to answer this question because it is somewhere between #4 and #5.

If I am having fun, I will play a variety (but maybe an emphasis on #2 because I enjoy playing with statistics).

If I am playing for real money, I suddenly spend considerably more time on low house edge games - which gets highly repetitious and boring.

Quite an interesting question. I'd probably lean towards 3 because blackjack is pretty fun for me. I wouldn't go into it wanting money because that would often make me sad I would say.

If I have a favorite game, roulette is probably it. I have barely touched craps as the only live casino I have gone to does not have it. But it would be fun to do more with it someday.
