The article is very well written and detailed. Thank you for it. I personally stay away from scratch cards because I don't trust them. I don't know why.
But of course everyone should decide that for themselves.
Thanks for the article

You're welcome, that's what our guides are for, to inform the players. I'm not a big fan either, but I do buy some physical ones from time to time. But that's maybe twice a year, if I don't get lucky. But I've never had any big wins. On the other hand, I've seen scratch cards drop quite a bit of money. For example, from 10€ 200. Anyway, I believe that these are not frequent.🙂🤔
⚠️ Consumer Notice: How Digital Instant Game "Jackpots" Really Work
Digital Instant Games do not work like traditional scratch-off tickets, even though they may look similar.
What you see on the screen can be misleading. Here’s what to know before you play:
Jackpot amounts shown on games are not a pool of money waiting to be won.
There is no set number of jackpots "left" in the game.
Each play is a separate random event.
Your odds do not improve over time, even if a jackpot grows or hasn’t been won recently.
Jackpots can increase indefinitely without being won.
A large or growing jackpot does not mean a win is more likely or "due."
A jackpot win does not change future odds.
Even after someone wins a large prize, the odds stay exactly the same.
These games are closer to slot machines than scratch-off tickets.
There is no inventory of prizes and no transparency about "remaining" wins.
Important takeaway:
The size of a displayed jackpot reflects marketing design, not your chances of winning.
If you choose to play, do so knowing:
There is no strategy or timing advantage
Playing longer does not improve outcomes
Losses do not increase future chances
Play for entertainment only—never with the expectation that odds will improve or that a jackpot must eventually be won.
