are they politically persecuted?

Today I registered at Pledoo Casino and I read the craziest question of my life during registration: "Are you politically persecuted?"

I've played in many casinos and experienced funny things, but I find that extremely "funny"

Soon the players will be asked if they are vegetarian or what kind of music they listen to *sfg*

And the second step would be KYC based on your answers: send us proof you are vegetarian... 😀

It's a very common thing that they ask if you're "politically exposed". For example, they want to know this whenever you register in a casino here in the Czech Republic.

Basically, politicians who are part of the government or have other important roles can't play in the local online casino, but being politically persecuted is a different thing. I have no idea why they wanted to know this.

maybe it's because Pledoo has a Curacao license...I don't know that from the previous casinos because I prefer the Malta licensing...

Also..I don't think it's ok..that Pledoo charges a deposit fee...made two deposits and added 2.5 euros each..

Hey Sommer, that sounds very strange. But even if you prefer MGA casinos, a Curacao license is not necessarily bad.

I've often read that you only get standard answers from the MGA. After all, these are only paid for or financed by the casinos.

So it's better to check where you pay beforehand.
