CPF is quite a unique thing for Brazil. Since it's basically your TAX payer ID, you need to be verified first in order to get the CPF so when you have it, it shows you've already been verified. I believe it basically has a similar function as a national ID number from the casino's perspective and it also gives the casino a signal that you're a Brazilian resident.

I remembered an important fact.

The Blaze platform also did this to me once, transferring my loot to the paid market, without ever having made a deposit through this means and without having a registered pix key.
