Sometimes I find it sad that players don't get to such information sooner and only find out everything when something happens. I would say it would be good to be more interested in such things if I have to deposit my money somewhere. 

Of course it's not just the players' fault, but it's definitely not the way a casino should behave.

Of course, your complaint is still open with us, so depending on how it ends, we will proceed. 

However, I'm curious how the casino will behave and what they will do in next couple of days when it is stated they have time till 13th august.

Unfortunately given some of the things Michael has chosen to write and CG’s reluctance to actually warn players it’s little wonder behaviour like this goes on.

I had my account for 3 years with this casino, fully verified with source of wealth verified. They blocked the account with no explanation a month ago.

This thread says all you need to know.

They have been fined massively in the past in sweden.


Their sister site Goldwin has numerous charges against them Gladiator Holding N.V.


They also advertised themselves as NO KYC TELEGRAM casino recently? Made no sense. They do a lot of things to not pay out players. Unfortunately people won't get much help here or anywhere else. It has to be court with places like this.

So players are aware. CG manipulate their complaints to boost their ‘Resolved’ stats. I had an issue with this criminal group and table matched my money out. CG marked the complaint as resolved despite doing nothing. They also rejected my review of goldwin as I pointed out they were breaking UK law…The site is what it is. It’s not for the players

When we did not help you, I hope, next time you won't open a new complaint with us. It is standard procedure that if is something resolved, player get his money etc then it will be closed like this. Why we should close it as unresolved is my question when it was settled ? I do not understand the logic behind it.

Regarding your user review, I explained you in depth why it was rejected. You are talking just about legality of the casino an it is not user review. Additionally, we are not lawyers so what you expect please ? We do not take these things into account and like I said, you didn't mention one positive or negative except this in your review. When you will focus on what I wrote, your review can be easily accepted.

Your complaints service is not fit for purpose. You did not help in anyway. I table matched the money out. I will not use it again.

Censoring a review because I am stating a casino is operating illegally in a market (Backed up by the UKGC) is borderline criminal.

I'm just finding this thread today as I've been informed that the MGA has suspended Goldwin Ltd's gaming license.

All gambling operations at West Casino have also been suspended.


Not sure if it's a direct result of this incident, but I'm about to read through this entire thread.

I've been saying for months that Goldwin (and all its subsidiaries and sister sites) appeared rather sus to me. I even had a review DENIED because of these suspicions.


I think someone owes me a tequila! (Or an apology.. I'd be good with that. Or even just a casual, "yeah, you were right" would do the trick 😅)

I will keep everyone updated and post responses from ECOGRA and MGA. The MGAs responses have been shocking and disgusting. It just proves unless you involve courts they do not want to help you.

Of course not. Regulation is about the money. They just use player protection and the PC reason.

Also, who's gonna want to trade-in their bathing suit for a suit and tie? Helping people will require them to do some actual work, meaning days in the office instead of on the beach.

Well, this ended rather abruptly. Steven Espie kind of hijacked this thread and effectively killed it.


I wonder what became of Mr. Mason Jones. I think he was either paid a visit by a couple of FSB agents, or he settled with the casino and signed an NDA.

Either way, he appears to have been silenced..🤫

If I'm posting a warning about a casino, it's because I have legitimate reasons to believe that players will have to fight for their money. Unfortunately, most of those warnings don't count as reviews because I'd never play at a casino that I'm warning someone about. I've already dug into the operator, looked at complaints, etc.

The problem with this, however, is most people will go to the review page and make their decision to play based on the information in front of them.

Sadly to say, if a player has come this far to be reading this, it's already too late for them, as it's only once someone gets burned that they start to dig deeper to find out this kind of information.


This being said, I get why you disallow these things. I may not like it, but I get it.

I sincerely appreciate you posting the warning and am impressed by the depth of understanding you possess.

Although I agree with what you say, we administrators always clarify that all tabs available on the casino details should be consulted. For example, the casino detail has been discussed numerous times with the Data Team and graphics masters, but we have consistently arrived at the same conclusion: there is no way out of the limited space, especially in mobile versions, for presenting everything we want to put in the spotlight. Have you used the PC version before? Actually, if you want more details, it is more "persuasive", I guess:
