Question about online casino winnings tax

Hello I wanted to ask a question about a problem I have with the online casino payout tax.

Let me first describe the problem

I played in a blackjack conference at pamestoixima.gr for about 3 hours and I lost a total of about 800 euros in this connection.

The next day the opap sends me a message, that the tax on the profits of this session is 100 euros!

For me according to how I understand the description

"According to the provisions of law 4141/13, therefore, the taxation of players will arise in stages and will concern only net profits per session, according to the table below."

Of course in this session in some blackjack games I won but the tax is only applied to net profit throughout the session correctly;

Because if this is indeed the case, they have owed me the cost unfairly, please let me know if I am correct in this matter, thank you very much. Costas

I'm not a tax adviser, but in countries where players pay taxes from gambling, it's always net profit. It doesn't make sense to pay taxes from losses. Have you asked Opap why they require you to pay taxes from your losses? Are you sure that you've been contacted by the real Opap and not some scam website?

Hello to the forum, I have a question, say that you make 1000 euros in net profit and you have been withheld the corresponding tax, e.g. 200 euros, if you continue and lose this money and do not withdraw because the tax withheld from you is not returned these 200 euros?
