Brilliant news mate how much was it total as like I said mine is with chase through donbet etc same as you and totald around 8k.


They are processing it as a scam case but I basically followed this thread and used thw templates. My argument is that pixeleum and finnart.io are crypto based and should have been blocked.


Did chase refund you themselves or chargeback the merchant.

Looks like I’m screwed of around 5k at least. Jokabet have removed the UK out of their restricted countries list meaning I have no leg to stand on regarding their terms not allowing people from the uk to play. I’m sure this wasn’t the case when I joined.

Only £40, my main ones £1000 are Barclaycard.

I kept on the live chat asking for an update daily, I then just said this is taking too long I want to complain. Probably 4 hours later they said what would you like to settle the complaint, I said initiate chargeback and it was then completed.

Would imagine as it was a very small amount and they just chargeback to get the complaint resolved.

Completed via chargeback so a refund from merchant.

Will keep you all updated on Barclaycard.

Maybe worth you complaining to apply pressure on them?

Two separate concerns:

My pixeleum one was a while a go, I had to call them as they wanted to speak to me, I think as I told them on that one that I had never paid pixeleum so they may have classed as scam/fraud. After speaking to them the money was in the next day.

The one just received was for Talio Constructions which is a music company, it took a while for them to chargeback 7 days, yesterday complained and said look chargeback as per my previous letter/template I haven’t received the goods.

I would potentially raise a complaint and when they ask what outcome would close the complaint say chargeback.

The issue I think we all have is one minute the banks say we can’t as gambling/crypto related then when we say well that should have been blocked as per terms etc they then backtrack and chargeback.

As I explained to Barclays yesterday you can’t say one thing that should be blocked, not block it and expect me to accept this. Complaints actually agreed but are assessing it, I would keep on at any of these banks, refer to them two FOS decisions and complain to the bank, hopefully we all get it sorted then.
