I spoke to support at Rizk about an hour ago and they confirmed that Yggdrasil is no longer offered to Canadian players at Rizk.

Does anyone have any information on this?

If this has anything to do with Ontario... 🤬🤬

Hello DaStupidKidd,

unfortunately, I personally don't have any information about this, but here I have found a link where you can try to contact Yggdrasil gaming directly and you can ask them why they are no longer provided at Rizk casino. If the problem is in Ontario or... 🙂

Well, keeping Ontario aside, I would guess the cause is due to changes in local restrictions, or better a restriction combined with a marketing decision.

Some game providers leave a certain markets from time to time, because the license costs more or some conditions were added by local authorities.

Can imagine this would not ease your pain. I'm sorry 🙂

Maybe other fellow players will dig up more!

Thanks, guys!!

I'll contact Yggdrasil and see if they offer up anything more than a canned response.

I'm fairly new to the online gaming world, but I'm fascinated by all the things that go into making this stuff work, yet baffled at how easy it seems to be.

Literally anyone with enough capital can open up a cookie cutter, Softswiss casino (provided they're not on any international most wanted lists 😂)

Hey there.

Did you know you can buy pre-set ready-to-go casino sites? You said that it's all about capital.

Let us know whether you get a sort of a good answer, please.🤞

"Turn-key" casinos. That's what Softswiss specializes in.

From what I can tell, they pretty much do all the work for you. All you have to do is pay the start up cost and take care of the promotion. They'll handle everything else, including player support.

My main question, though, is why don't they just open their own casinos? I mean, getting a large upfront payment as well as a percentage of revenue for a number of years is awesome. But why not just keep ALL the money? It's not like they have to pay a company to design the casino for them.

Some nights, my tinfoil hat takes me way down the rabbit hole. I start connecting the dots and eventually it leads me to one crazy conclusion: That there are really only 2 or 3 actual main players in this industry and all of the other companies are just shell companies used to funnel money to places and people I don't want to know 🤐🤣

But those are all my conspiracies.

Maybe I'll stick to contacting Yggdrasil for now and try to find out what happened, though I suspect that conversation will go nowhere, as it was probably just a decision from Rizk themselves.

Yes - the "turn-key" casinos. I missed the word completely, thanks for bringing it back 😊🙏.

Why do people buy custom houses, the turn-key houses, what do you think? I'd say the answer remains the same, they both buy comfort. Fewer things you need to think through, and less stress with all the administration, just pay the money and be assured somebody else is going to handle the rest.

I feel it's a way for people who lacks experience and drive - in general.

I'd say 2-3 actual main payers seem to be too few, for such an industry. But who knows for sure? 😀

The three main players:

- Dama, which is probably owned by Softswiss. N1, Hollycorn, Direx (whom I believe rebranded as Dama). Essentially the entire Softswiss platform.

- White Hat, who I've got issues with. I consider them as the biggest example of everything that's wrong in this industry.

- Whoever operates the Mountberg/VS Odds/Mirage casinos. I'm fairly certain that they're all one group, though I haven't dug into it as much as I have with Dama.

Those are my three main players. As I was making this list, it occurred to me that there are definitely more than these three.

Gammix, Genesis, Skill-On-Net, William Hill. These are all fairly large groups, but they just don't have the same type of feel as those others.

WOT NV is another name I keep seeing. I don't know what it is, but all of their casinos strike me as kind of.. what's the word I'm looking for here? Not-the-most-trustworthy? I dunno. Something just seems very off with that group.

Hi and what exactly do you like about this casino ? Could you tell me more about it ? I'm sure other players could also benefit from your experience and learn something from it. 🙂
