No I cancelled the claim after hearing they were closing your account down. Emailed them and they told me to contact the bank directly so I’m taking that as a loss
Hi guys, just had an interesting discussion with my bank and I think the message around these crooks is gathering momentum. I was asking for the details of a merchant because the reference on the bank statement was no help. I explained my situation and was told not to worry it’s being refunded. I have sent a list of the transactions to disputes team so not sure if this is the catalyst. I have been totally open and honest with them. I’ll give you an updated on what happens next

Mine is similar amount just different bank. They look like they’re cooperating. Once they actually raise them it’s good news as hard for these fraudsters to fight them.
I've also currently got around £5000 in chargebacks raised with mastercard, through Santander. Haven't been credited for any of them up front which is annoying, but theres been no update for over a month and normally no news is good news!
