Do I understand correctly that they are bothered by the scan? Can anyone comment on this?

They’re saying exactly what it sounds like, yes. Scans are not acceptable to them. They want a photo of the certified document, with all four corners visible. Unfortunately, this kind of situation is pretty common and casinos don’t very often make exceptions here. A scan is technically editable; a photo is harder to tamper with.

Provide the original photo meeting all the requirements, and you should be fine, I reckon.

Update regarding my payout.

October 18, 2025: After a 10-day wait and requesting notary documents, Bet1 finally processed the payout. The money is already in my account. I was not charged any fees.

Conclusion:

This remains one of my most frustrating experiences in the online casino sector. They deliberately kept me waiting and offered little response to my questions. Despite this, they eventually paid out after considerable effort. The payout speed, however, was unacceptable. Having now read about the numerous complaints regarding payouts, I'm just glad to have received any money at all. In the future, I will definitely steer clear of 1Bet.

I won a large sum of money at 1bet.com. On March 1st, 2026, I requested the first €5,000 for withdrawal. However, no money has yet been credited to my account. Furthermore, the option to cancel the withdrawal is still displayed online, which is making me even more uncertain.

Unfortunately, in the live chat I only ever get the same standard answers and no specific information about my case. Furthermore, according to the terms and conditions, it's only possible to withdraw a maximum of €5,000 every 7 days – which I honestly find quite unbelievable.

It is still quite a beneficial idea to check the casinos' terms and conditions before depositing, because I understand that finding out lower withdrawal limits afterwards is not pleasant at all. 20K€ monthly is kind of standard for new players, based on what I saw. Casinos tend to split the amounts into weekly limits, however. I appreciate you mentioning that.
