The player from the UK has sent documents for the verification, however, the status of KYC is still unknown. We rejected the complaint because the player didn't respond to our messages and questions.

It is a common procedure for casinos to check every detail to make sure they are sending the money to the right person and it might take few working days. If all the data, that you have provided is correct, there should be no reason for the casino to delay your withdrawal.
Are you sure you provided all the required documents in a good quality?
