Theme and Storyline

The Colosseum of Rome was a vast arena built to assuage the Roman populace’s blood lust with graphic and violent displays. Wild Gladiators goes soft on the blood and harder on the more glamorous aspects of the sword and sandals genre.

On the reels, beautiful Roman women and handsome Roman Emperors preside over tigers, swordsmen and chariot races, while the crowd cheers the action on from the background.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The graphics are a bit bland. While the background pops, the reels are decorated with some very weak artwork that does nothing to generate an atmosphere for the slot machine.

The music, on the other hand, is excellent. The soundtrack could have come directly from a Hollywood epic and does a lot to alleviate the weakness of the imagery.

The animations are high quality but feel divorced from the theme and setting.

Gameplay

The slot is a standard three row, five reel slot at first glance, but comes with a few nice little refinements. This is the usual setting for Pragmatic Play slots.

If a Super Bonus Wild lands on reel six, a Wild is added at random to every wheel. Any wilds on the middle row expand, and payouts are calculated.
