Tao Fortune Casino Review

TaoFortune offers a slots-focused sweepstakes library with thousands of reels, plus live dealer tables, big jackpots, and regular Tao Races and tournaments. With an 8.8 Safety Index score, it's one of the more trustworthy options. We tested it to see if it's worth your time.

My first impressions of TaoFortune

TaoFortune opened nearly six years ago in 2020, and it's part of the A1 Development family of sweepstakes casinos. I had lots of fun spinning through slots, participating in regular tourneys, and stashing Sweeps Coins (SC) in my "Piggy Bank" to use later.

As with the other sites in our online casino reviews, I looked closely at the bonus, game selection, and daily promotions before deciding how TaoFortune compares.

When I signed up, verified my email, and completed my account profile, I received a bonus of 250,000 Tao Coins and 1 Secret Coin. I was able to get an extra SC by following TaoFortune on Facebook, but this isn't part of the actual no-deposit bonus.

Admittedly, this isn't the best welcome bonus I've ever seen – at Real Prize, I was able to get my hands on 2 free SC upfront.

However, I was a huge fan of TaoFortune's mystery daily rewards, which I claimed after verifying my phone number. Opening special gift boxes, taking advantage of exclusive bonus codes on socials, and collecting guaranteed progressive login rewards all kept my balance relatively full.

The game library at TaoFortune spans nearly 1,500 games from 18+ software providers, including live tables from ICONIC21 and Jacktop.

This puts the site ahead of McLuck, which offers approximately 1,300 slots and live games. Needless to say, TaoFortune beats the average collection of 500-1,000 titles at many other online casinos in the USA.

When I made my first purchase, I got a 100% bonus (600,000 TC + 40 free SC) for $19.99. I've seen identical bonuses at Chumba, but I would prefer more options, such as a cheaper bundle with a larger first-time boost (like Chumba's 200% offer, which costs $9.99).

You can technically spend $11.99 to collect 300,000 GC and 24 free SC upfront, but this is still only a 100% boost.

Unfortunately, Rule 7 is something you'll need to be aware of. It limits you to redeeming 25 SC from any winnings you get while playing with the SC from free bonuses (such as the no deposit offer, gift boxes, or mystery boxes).

The only way to redeem more than 25 SC is to purchase Tao Coins and use the extra SC from your purchase during gameplay. This rule contributes heavily to the Safety Index Score of 8.8, as it seems rather unfair.

What I love

  • Strong game library – TaoFortune offers over 1,470 titles from 18+ software providers. Sites like Chumba or Casino.Click only have 300-1,000 total games on deck, giving TaoFortune the edge when it comes to jackpots and live dealer options.
  • Non-stop promotions – TaoFortune offers so many casino promotions that the pop-ups can get somewhat annoying over time. You can refer friends to the site, open mystery gift boxes, claim weekly rewards, participate in Tao Races, and stash free coins in your Piggy Bank.
  • Dedicated VIP program – TaoFortune's VIP program unlocks 20% in weekly SC rewards up to 2,000 SC, exclusive promotions, birthday gifts, quicker redemptions, and personal VIP hosting. In my experience, it's most similar to the Stake.us VIP program.
  • Quick-responding support – Live chat support responded promptly, and I didn't have to make a purchase before getting in touch. This puts TaoFortune ahead of McLuck and Mega Bonanza, which require you to purchase GC before unlocking 24/7 chat support.

What could be improved

  • Unclear rules/broken links – When I spoke to live chat support, I was informed about Rule 7. I also requested a link to the Award Rules, but the link I received sent me to the homepage rather than displaying the actual terms. Honestly, this is a massive red flag.
  • Rule 7 limits redemptions – Rule 7 limits you to redeeming just 25 SC if you play games with your SC from free bonuses. The only way to get around this restriction is by making coin purchases. Unfortunately, this is the case at all A1 Development-owned casinos.

Getting my hands on progressive login rewards, purchase boosts, weekly offers, and free SC via the Piggy Bank

I got 250,000 TC and 1 free SC after claiming the TaoFortune no-deposit bonus, and I also got an extra Secret Coin for following the platform on Facebook. This left me with 250,000 TC + 2 free SC, which is mostly on par with Chumba's welcome bonus of 2,000,000 GC and 2 free SC.

TaoFortune beats Casino.Click because the latter only offers 100,000 GC. Both sites promise 2 free SC upfront, but Casino.Click doesn't ask you to follow them on FB. Bitskybet only gave me 10,000 GC + 1 SC on sign-up, putting it at the bottom of the pack.

In terms of login rewards, TaoFortune gains a unique edge by offering mystery gift boxes and guaranteed progressive bonuses. Comparatively, Bitskybet and Casino.Click offer one login bonus every 24 hours. I got 10,000 TC on Day 1, and the amount changes based on activity.

Like Stake.us and Sweeps Royal, TaoFortune offers special bonus codes on social media. You can use these bonus codes to claim flash discounts on purchases, complementing the 100% boost that's already available on your first buy.

Unique promotions like TaoFortune's Piggy Bank fill up whenever you play games, make coin purchases, or open gift boxes.

Biggest promo perks

  • Dual daily bonuses – TaoFortune is one of the few sweeps casinos to offer them. You'll open gift boxes and claim progressive rewards on a 30-day login schedule. Casino.Click and competing sites only offer free coins once every 24 hours.
  • Special promo drops – You can follow TaoFortune on socials to participate in giveaways and grab free promo codes on occasion. I navigated a simple maze and earned 10 SC for my efforts. Weekly puzzles also spruce up the action for ten random winners online.
  • Regular Tao Races – TaoFortune is giving away 500 SC every single day, and you'll get leaderboard points based on the largest multiplier you're able to achieve in-game. Each event has a minimum Play Level for TC/SC, but rewarding multipliers rather than total win amounts evens the playing field for high rollers and low-risk gamers.
  • Fill up your Piggy Bank – As you continue having fun at TaoFortune, you'll fill up your Piggy Bank with a max of 20 SC. However, you can break the Piggy Bank at any time and transfer the extra coins to your balance.
  • Tao Club offers weekly bonuses – Progress through the TaoFortune VIP program to collect weekly SC rewards between 1%-20%. Sites like Stake.us and Sweeps Royal offer the same benefits.

What needs to be fixed

  • Pop-ups can get annoying – As mentioned, TaoFortune has so many promotions that responding to them all can feel overwhelming. Moving forward, I'd like to see fewer ad pop-ups and better bonus organization.

Ongoing rewards and contests

TaoFortune has plenty to do for existing players. Here's a quick overview of the site's ongoing rewards:

Planet Riches gift boxes – Claim up to 1,500 GC and 20 free SC by opening one of three gift boxes every 24 hours. You must verify your cell phone number to unlock rewards.

Tao Races – Play eligible titles from Netgame and other providers with TC or SC to bring home the bacon during Galaxy Drift or Prime Time Stakes events. 15 players will qualify for a top prize of 25 SC, and there's 500 SC up for grabs every single day. You'll win based on the highest in-game multipliers you're able to achieve, and you only have to spend 0.3 SC per spin.

Promo codes on Facebook – After following TaoFortune on Facebook, you'll get an extra 1 SC. This is also where you'll find special promo codes that qualify you for regular discounts on coin purchases. Even if you don't bump into random discounts, Weekly puzzles and giveaways offer ten lucky players the chance to win a max of 10 SC each.

Tao VIP Club – The TaoFortune VIP program takes you on an adventure through the stars as you land on various planets to collect better and better bonuses.

Navigate from Centaurus up to Bootes, Lyra, Auriga, Orion, Aquila, Taurus, Cygnus, Leo, and finally Andromeda to get between 1% and 20% in weekly SC rewards. Each planet has several moons, and when you make it to each one, you'll collect a TC/SC level-up bonus to match.

Expert tip: Want to fast-track your VIP status? Buying coins brings you through a warp speed portal to Lyra, Auriga, or Orion when you spend $29.99, $69.99, or $99.99 on coin purchases. You get 300,000 TC + 30 SC, 700,000 TC + 70 SC, or 1M TC + 100 SC with your VIP upgrade.

Taking my pick from 1,470+ slots and live games at TaoFortune

If you're a fan of online casino games, TaoFortune hits the nail on the head with nearly 1,500 slots/jackpots and more than 35 live dealer games from over 18 software providers. However, the platform is missing basic specialties and virtual tables, putting it behind Stake.us (which has 2,200+ titles, including tens of fun Stake Originals).

TaoFortune also falls behind Bitskybet, a newer platform with 2,500+ diverse games from around 20 providers. Still, it comfortably exceeds the average of 500-1,000 titles I've seen on sites like Pulsz Bingo, Pulsz, and Golden Hearts Games.

Something I really love about TaoFortune's game selection is how carefully different slot types are organized. Bonus buys, Hold & Link / Hold & Win games, 3x3 reels, classics, bonus combo reels, Megaways, and themed collections are easily accessible from the top menu.

I had the most fun checking out TaoFortune's "Jackpot Hub," and I was able to see a real-time stream of winners before committing to any particular slot. I opted into Asian Fortune and Fire Balls jackpots for an extra 0.1 SC per spin, giving me the chance to earn more than 8,000 SC.

Fruit Cash Hold n' Link and Mega Diamonds Hunt Hold & Win offer their own multiplier-based jackpots while providing classic casino action. If you're looking for themed collections, you will find plenty of fruit, animal, and Diamond machines like Penguin King's Gemstone Guardians.

I also found 400+ bonus buy machines, 300+ Hold & Win games, 25+ Megaways with up to 200,704 paylines, and 70+ classic games that deliver old-school fun.

After diving into TaoFortune's "Interactive Zone" from the homepage, I found more than 30 live variants of blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and specialty cards from ICONIC21 and Jacktop.

It's great to see classics like Grand Bonus Blackjack and Gravity Roulette here, as both titles are quite popular at sweepstakes casinos like Moonspin. At the same time, TaoFortune goes the extra mile to support Spanish-speaking players with Ruleta Amazonica.

Awesome parts about the games

  • Plenty of slots and jackpots – TaoFortune has over 1,430 slots and hundreds of games that double as jackpots, not to mention two progressive jackpot networks. It thoroughly beats Casino.Click's library of 1,000+ games, but falls behind Bitskybet's 2,500-strong library.
  • More live games than most – You'll find more than 35 live dealer games at TaoFortune, putting it ahead of McLuck (which only has around 33 live options). It's also one of the only sweepstakes casinos to host roulette for Spanish-speaking players.
  • Carefully ordered collections – Navigating TaoFortune's game library was easy as could be, thanks to carefully ordered slot collections on both the homepage and top menu. Enchanted games, Cash Pool titles, slots with darker adult themes, cascading reels, and "The Secret Flame" slots are difficult to find elsewhere.

What didn't feel so great

  • No instant-win specialties – TaoFortune falls behind, Punt, Stake.us, and Bitskybet by failing to provide instant-win specialties. You won't be able to play Crash, bingo, Plinko, or Chicken Rush games here.
  • No virtual table games – Even sites with lower total game counts like Crown Coins and Chumba offer virtual tables with RNG certification, but you're limited to live dealer tables at TaoFortune. Luckily, studios run 24 hours a day to make sure you always have a seat.

Check out titles from Netgame, BGaming, BetSoft, and Booming Games

TaoFortune partners up with a mix of more than 18 new and established software providers to host over 1,470 games. This aligns with the average of 10-20 software providers I've seen at Chumba, Casino.Click, and Bitskybet.

Even though larger sweepstakes casinos like Funrize and Stake.us also work with extensive provider lineups, TaoFortune still offers strong variety for slot players and live dealer enthusiasts.

Popular companies like Netgame and Penguin King sponsor most of the site's classic games, while Booming Games and BetSoft mainly contribute Hold & Win titles. Even ICONIC21, which is a provider mostly known for live games, comes in clutch with fruit and holiday-themed slots.

As for live dealer games, Jacktop and ICONIC21 Live join forces to host international tables and classic variants of blackjack/baccarat/roulette. I personally enjoyed playing Joker's Fortune, Clover Coins 3x3, and Divine Queen: Heart of Ice during my review.

Try games for free

You can play all the games for free using Tao Coins or Secret Coins. Because TaoFortune is a sweepstakes casino, you're never required to spend money on purchases before trying games or redeeming prizes. If you're focused on having fun, use your TC to get some practice spins in.

Keep in mind that you have to play with Secret Coins if you want to redeem your winnings. Be sure to make at least one purchase so you're not limited to redeeming 25 SC by the time it's all said and done.

Expert tip: Can't decide what you want to play at TaoFortune? Scroll to "Quick Buy" and click "Spin" underneath the "Random Game" header. It's a simple way to discover new titles. Just check the game info first, as RTP (Return to Player) can vary.

Compatible with cards and PayPal for purchases

TaoFortune accepts Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal as payment options for coin purchases. You can also use Apple Pay if you're visiting the website on mobile, but the range of banking options here is sub-par if compared to Casino.Click, which goes the extra mile to accept Discover/Amex/cryptocurrencies.

Bitskybet is also compatible with various cryptocurrencies, Zelle, credit cards, and debit cards. The minimum casino deposit at TaoFortune is $4.99, which is on par with Bitskybet. However, both options feel less accessible than Casino.Click's $2 purchase requirement.

All TC packages come with a free SC bonus, and you'll get 1 free Secret Coin per dollar spent. TaoFortune's purchase menu climbs up to $499.99, offering more options for big spenders than Casino.Click (which maxes out at $99.99) and McLuck (maxes out at $199.99).

Unfortunately, TaoFortune doesn't offer built-in TC discounts unless you find a promo code on socials. This puts it behind Crown Coins and Ace.com, which offer slightly more than 1 free SC per dollar spent on more expensive purchases.

You can redeem gift card prizes starting from 25 SC, which happens to be the max redemption threshold stated in Rule 7 for players who only use the free SC they're given. You have to earn at least 100 SC in order to redeem cash prizes via bank transfer.

Casino.Click has an even less accessible redemption minimum of 100 SC across the board, but other higher-rated sweepstakes casinos offer clearer redemption paths. Real Prize starts gift card redemptions at 45 SC, while CrownCoins requires 50 SC to redeem a prize. TaoFortune's 100 SC cash minimum, together with Rule 7, still feels too restrictive by comparison.

I'm also not a fan of the redemption speed at TaoFortune, as all prizes take 3-7 days to reach your email or bank account. Casino.Click and Bitskybet offer 24 to 48-hour crypto redemptions by comparison.

What we liked about banking

  • Compatible with PayPal – TaoFortune supports PayPal for purchases but not redemptions. Nonetheless, you can't use PayPal to buy coins at Casino.Click, Chumba, or McLuck Casino.
  • Use Apple Pay on mobile – Like Funrize and other A1 Development Casinos, you can use Apple Pay to buy coins on your iOS device. The option only appears when you are on mobile, but it's there regardless.
  • Flexible purchase menu – You can purchase up to $499.99 worth of TC/SC at once, which makes TaoFortune a better option for big spenders than Casino.Click, McLuck, and Chumba. However, Sweeps Royal makes it possible to buy up to $3,000 at once.

What feels underrepresented

  • Slow redemption speeds – Redemptions take 3-7 days at TaoFortune, regardless of your preferred method, whereas Casino.Click only takes 3-5 days for cash payments. Bitskybet offers crypto redemptions in 24-48 hours, making them the quickest option.
  • Limited range of payments – Unlike Real Prize and Chumba, TaoFortune doesn't accept Skrill for purchases/redemptions. Cryptocurrencies are also noticeably absent from the banking menu, putting the site behind Bitskybet.

Expert tip: There's no way to complete KYC verification early at TaoFortune, so you'll have to do the honors once you've actually won enough to redeem a prize. I was asked to confirm my name, address, date of birth, and Social Security Number (SSN) for eligibility purposes.

How payments and redemptions break down:

Method Minimum Amount Processing Time Notes
💰 Purchases Credit/Debit Card $4.99 Instant Visa, Mastercard
Apple Pay $4.99 Instant Mobile payments on iOS
PayPal $4.99 Instant E-wallet payments
🎁 Redemptions Bank Transfer (Cash) 100 SC 3-7 business days Must redeem $100 equivalent
Gift Card 25 SC 3-7 business days Must redeem $25 equivalent
🧾 Verification Submit information, including SSN Required to redeem prizes Instant 1x playthrough on bonus SC

TaoFortune's 8.8/10 Safety Index, explained in greater detail

As a sweepstakes casino, TaoFortune is legally able to operate without a traditional gambling license. Instead of using real money for wagering purposes, you'll play games with Tao Coins and Secret Coins.

You can obtain both currencies for free when you sign up and every day after that. If you want, you can also submit handwritten requests to claim more free SC. This makes TaoFortune fully compliant with sweepstakes regulations, as set forth by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

As with our other online casino reviews, we focus largely on our personal experiences while consulting third-party reviews for a better overview of the site's strengths and weaknesses.

In TaoFortune's case, the 8.8 score is supported by the fact that it does not currently have active complaints on Casino Guru, and that it's been operating since 2020. However, the score is held back by Rule 7, which limits redemptions to 25 SC if you don't make purchases.

TaoFortune's 8.8 Safety Index outshines Moonspin.us, Casino.Click, and Bitskybet. It also has an identical score to Funrize, but it falls squarely behind RealPrize. Removing Rule 7 would go a long way toward making the rules feel fairer for players.

Where TaoFortune prioritizes safety

  • No active complaints – TaoFortune has a good 3.6/5 star Trustpilot rating based on 1,700+ reviews. While there are no active player complaints on Casino Guru, reviews note growing frustration with TaoFortune's restrictions on free play winnings.
  • Geo-location checks + KYC – TaoFortune is immune to VPN usage because it checks your current location through your mobile browser. KYC is also mandatory and enforced before prize redemptions are approved.
  • Transparent ownership – TaoFortune is owned by A1 Development LLC, which also operates five sister casinos. You can easily find company details at the bottom of the website, making it easy to send mail correspondence.
  • Industry-standard RSG tools – TaoFortune prioritizes your safety by making it easy to add purchase limits, encouraging players to install parental control software, and directing its players to external supportive resources like Computer Gaming Addicts Anonymous.

What problems exist with the casino

  • Rule 7 limits redemptions – Unfortunately, your free play winnings are limited to $25 if you don't end up making coin purchases. This is an issue at A1 Development casinos in general, and broken links to the Award Rules don't help TaoFortune look any better.

Expert tip: You can get in touch with live support to implement GC purchase limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. It's also simple to request a short break from the action, self-exclude, or deactivate your account if you feel like you need a rest.

Bookmark the instant-play web app for a stellar mobile experience

TaoFortune isn't the only casino without a downloadable app for iOS/Android – sites like McLuck, Pulsz Bingo, and Chumba offer limited functionality on mobile, forcing players to use Gold Coins (GC) exclusively through their respective applications.

That said, I was a fan of TaoFortune's instant-play app. I bookmarked it to my iPhone 16 using Chrome by clicking "Share" and "Add to Home Screen." When I opened the icon, I noticed that I was already logged into my account. I also found more screen space on the instant-play app.

The interface looks/feels identical on desktop and mobile, with the exception of a bottom-row menu that gives you quicker access to games, gift boxes, available bonuses, and messages from the casino.

The instant-play app also retains the same level of detailed organization that makes the desktop website so easy to navigate. Finally, I didn't notice any lag while I enjoyed live games and spun through slots on my iPhone.

Things we enjoyed on mobile

  • No reports of mobile lag – TaoFortune doesn't have any reports of mobile lag on review sites like Trustpilot. My experience was consistent with the fast loading speeds and silky smooth navigation options reported by other players.
  • Optimized instant-play app – TaoFortune's instant-play app delivers more screen space, quicker loading speeds, and a more streamlined user experience compared to either the desktop or mobile website.
  • Mandatory location checks – TaoFortune won't let you use the app if you're ineligible to play based on your location, which saves you from wasting time and making purchases when you wouldn't be able to redeem SC prizes anyway.

What doesn't look so fantastic

  • Profile section is sized inappropriately – The only UX issue I noticed while using the TaoFortune instant-play app was minor, but still concerning. My account settings were skewed to the right of the screen, making it harder to update my personal information.

Expert tip: If you bump into any trouble with the TaoFortune instant-play app, make sure your mobile location settings are on. The site conducts geo-location checks to guarantee eligibility, and if your phone doesn't allow TaoFortune to access your location, you won't be able to play.

Getting in touch with 24/7 chat and email support at TaoFortune

TaoFortune offers free, 24/7 live chat and email support. This puts it ahead of McLuck and Mega Bonanza, which require you to purchase coins before speaking to a real person via chat. Still, it falls behind Casino.Click and Bitskybet: both sites offer free live chat, email, and phone support.

There's no way to call someone up at TaoFortune, but I had a good experience with the live chat team. Like Cazino, TaoFortune makes support easy to access through free live chat and email.

Bitskybet and Casino.Click offer similarly quick-responding support. I also sent a message to support@taofortune.com and got a reply 24 hours later, with follow-ups taking around 12 hours. This is on par with the email response times I've experienced at both Chumba and CrownCoins Casino.

I tried reaching out on Facebook and Instagram, but didn't notice a reply anywhere. I much prefer Stake.us' approach to support, since it extends beyond live chat and on to Instagram.

What's good about support

  • Free, live support – TaoFortune offers free chat support, putting it ahead of the curve compared to websites that force users to pay for the privilege.
  • Quick email replies – TaoFortune replies to emails in 12-24 hours, which is on par with the rest of the sweeps industry (including established, popular sites like Chumba).
  • AI chatbot is helpful – Despite TaoFortune's lack of an FAQ section, the AI bot covers plenty of basic information as you wait for a real person to join the chat.

What doesn't match up

  • No phone support – Bitskybet, Freespin Casino, and Casino.Click all offer 100% free phone support. TaoFortune doesn't have a dedicated hotline for payment-related inquiries, which should be changed in the near future.
  • No social media support – Unlike Stake.us, TaoFortune doesn't respond to inquiries made on socials.

How we tested it:

Channel Response time
Live chat 30 seconds - 1 minute
Email 12-24 hours
Phone N/A
Social media No response on Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter)

Expert tip: Because there's no FAQ available, conversing with TaoFortune's AI chatbot is the closest thing you'll get to an instant response. I found it helpful for answering questions about redemption minimums, KYC verification, and important account functions before a real person entered the picture.

How I created a new account with TaoFortune in one minute flat

Getting started with TaoFortune is easy as pie. I was able to create a new account, verify my email, complete my profile, and claim bonuses in about 60 seconds.

How to register

Below, I'll show you the steps I followed to create my new account with TaoFortune:

  1. Open TaoFortune's website - Open TaoFortune's website, click "Sign Up," and decide whether you'd like to register with your email, Apple ID, Google account, or Facebook. If you choose to start from scratch, enter your email and create a new password.

Check the boxes to confirm that you're 21+ years old and don't live in a restricted state, then click "Join Us."
  2. Verify your email address - Open your email inbox and look for a new message from TaoFortune. Click the link inside, and you'll be sent back to the homepage.
  3. Complete your profile - Click the prompt that appears on the homepage and you'll be sent to the Settings portion of your account. Enter your full name, zip code, and mobile number when asked to do so.

At this point, you'll notice 250,000 TC and 1 free SC waiting on your next move. You'll also notice a prompt to follow the site on Facebook, which optionally gives you another Secret Coin. You can begin playing slots and live games with your TC or SC at any time.

Is TaoFortune worth your energy? Yes, but be aware of Rule 7

As it stands, TaoFortune is a wildly fun sweepstakes casino with plenty of games and unique promotions peppering every aspect of the user experience. Tao Races, Piggy Bank rewards, and VIP benefits complement the site's dual daily bonus and exclusive social media promos.

I wasn't a major fan of the no-deposit bonus, which left me with 1 SC to start. However, I loved opening gift boxes for a chance to win 20 SC and claiming progressive login rewards each day. The first purchase offer is also where I'd expect it to be, and a 100% boost is nothing to scoff at.

Unfortunately, Rule 7 makes TaoFortune a bad choice for players who don't want to buy coins. You're limited to redeeming 25 SC if you play games with SC that didn't come from a purchase.

This is a common complaint at all six A1 Development casinos, and most of the negative reviews about TaoFortune focus on players feeling like they were scammed. This was also one of the main reasons we dropped TaoFortune's Safety Index Score to an 8.8 out of 10.

TaoFortune needs to be more upfront about its rules, as I was only able to confirm the existence of Rule 7 by contacting chat support.

Resolving this issue would allow TaoFortune to compete more effectively against other online casinos in the USA, many of which don't limit redemption amounts based on your GC purchases (or lack thereof).
