It's time to make a deal with the devil – and he might just hand out wins of up to 16,666x your stake.
If you've played other Hacksaw games like RIP City before, the design of SixSixSix (666) might feel a little familiar. The game is mainly in black and white, with a few pops of blue and red here and there. The two devil characters, Balthazar and Beelzebub, preside over the grid, waving their pitchforks as you play. But don't worry – these devils are cartoon-style, so they're not scary.
Just like the visuals, the soundtrack is a good mix of creepy and quirky. While there are some ominous undertones, there are plenty of cheerful jingles to keep things feeling upbeat.
SixSixSix is a five-reel, four-row game with 14 fixed paylines. Just like with most other slot games, you'll trigger wins when at least three of the same symbols land on adjacent reels from left to right, on one of those paylines.
The highest-paying symbol is a hand making the "devil horns" gesture, while the evil dog characters also award wins. Other symbols include hellish paraphernalia like an axe, a set of crossed bones, and a bible.
Look out for the blue or red 6 symbols on reels 1, 3, or 5, as these can trigger the Wicked Wheel feature. The Wicked Wheel appears on the grid, and when it spins, you'll get the prize shown wherever it lands. For example, the Blue Wicked Wheel can have Multipliers, Multiplying Multipliers, or a Free Spins trigger. The Red Wicked Wheel only appears during special features.
The Free Spins trigger on the Wicked Wheel activates the Speak of the Devil round, which awards you with 10 Spins. During the Free Spins round, there's a higher chance of landing the Wicked Wheel.
If you land a 6 symbol on two Wicked Wheels at the same time in the base game, you'll get the Let Hell Break Loose feature, which gives you a better chance of landing Red Wicked Wheels.
If things go a step further and you get three Wicked Wheels in the base game, you'll open up the What the Hell round, where a Red Wicked Wheel is guaranteed to land with every spin.
When Let Hell Break Loose or Speak of the Devill triggers, you'll be given the option to make a "Deal with the Devil" for a chance to get more Free Spins.
It's up to you how much you'd like to stake on each spin. The lowest possible spin value is $/€/£0.10 and the highest is $/€/£100 per go. The maximum amount you can win on a single spin is 16,666x your stake amount.
The Return to Player (RTP) percentage can be either 96.12% or 96.15% in the base game, but both of these figures are above average. The game is highly volatile, so wins might not be that frequent, but they'll likely be larger.
While the theme might feel cool and entertaining to some, we can see why some people might prefer to stick with more typical games featuring themes like animals or gems. But theme aside, we were hugely impressed with all of the special features, which really set this game apart from other titles. It's also totally mobile-friendly, just like all other Hacksaw Gaming titles.
