Le Pharaoh whisks players off to Ancient Egypt in a thrilling tale supplied by Hacksaw Gaming.
Following on from the adventures of Hacksaw Gaming's other mega hit title Le Bandit, players will follow the anti-hero raccoon. This Egyptian-themed title provides an exciting new destination for players.
This fully animated game helps players explore the world through the Pharaoh, aka Smokey, and it is a quirky addition to Hacksaw's stable of slots.
There is a cinematic feel to Le Pharaoh, and this is reflected in the opening sequence where Smokey is wearing traditional garbs worn by the Ancient Egyptian ruler.
The main character is standing to the side of the reels, and he seems devious. Meanwhile, the symbols are carved into a golden reel while pyramids loom large in the background.
In terms of the soundtrack, it has a slightly menacing feel to it, but it creates an authentic atmosphere. Players can, of course, choose to switch it off during the base game.
Overall, the animations are smooth, and the soundtrack matches the overriding theme of the game.
Spread on an expansive 6x5 grid, Le Pharaoh comes with 19 paylines that are oriented from left to right.
Wins can be accrued by landing at least 3 matching symbols, and most of the symbols will be decorated in Egyptian style.
Low-valued letters will pay up to 0.7x the bet. Scarabs, meanwhile, are more valuable, offering up to 3x your stake for a 6-of-a-kind win.
Le Pharaoh is complete with other neat features, such as Sticky Redrops, but more to follow on that, later.
But this game comes with an excellent win potential of 15,000x your stake, which is worth noting.
The Wild symbol is represented by a papyrus with Le Pharaoh on it, which delivers up to 6x your bet when six appear in succession.
Sticky Redrops are a defining feature of this game. When a winning combination lands, all symbols involved in that combo will stick and a re-drop will be awarded.
During a re-drop, paying symbols that create new winning combos will also stick and another re-drop will be awarded.
Meanwhile, the Golden Riches feature will come into action after a Sticky Redrop sequence ends and the Rainbow Icon appears. Golden squares will be turned into Gold, Silver, or Bronze coins, and the multipliers will range from 0.2x to 500x. Or this will be turned into the Pot of Gold or Green/Golden Clovers.
There is also a Bonus Choice, which is Hacksaw's version of Free Spins. Landing 3 or 4 FS Scatter symbols at the same time in the game will activate Bonus Choice. With 3 Free Spins symbols, players can choose either the Luck of the Pharaoh (10 free spins) or the Lost Treasures bonus game.
Whereas with 4 Free Spins symbols, players can choose between the Super Luck of the Pharaoh or the Super Lost Treasures bonus game. Unlike the lost treasures bonus game where you can enter the bonus round with 3 refilling lives, the Super Lost Treasures game ensures a greater chance of landing more higher-value coins.
If players land 5 Scatters, then the Rainbow over the Pyramids feature comes into play and will award 12 free spins. This bonus will retain Sticky Re-drops and the Golden Riches elements from the base game.
Le Pharaoh comes with an RTP of 96.18%, which is above the industry-expected average of 96%.
The range of bets available for this game starts from a minimum of $/£/€0.10 per spin, with the maximum set at $/£/€100 per spin.
This slot falls into the medium volatility category, so players should expect moderate-sized wins on a moderate basis.
Le Pharaoh is very slick and stylish from an animation point of view, and it certainly scores many points in this area.
While the slot is only medium volatility, the RTP and huge win potential make it an enticing proposal.
When you also factor in the exciting bonus features, players may have stumbled across a gem of a slot.
