The player from United States has tried to redeem the advertised No Deposit bonus without being successful. After contacting the casino support the bonus was granted but the player’s email address is still unverified. After a closer examination, we rejected this complaint.

Signed up for a new account, basically because of the $40 no deposit bonus listed on your site. Signed up and used the promo code on your site
GURU40 but the code was declined which I find already to be shady, the site then listed other bonuses that I could use after a deposit..... here's the thing, a very small yellow box was listed on my registration page that said my email was not verified, I attempted to verify over a 3 day time frame.

 

I then used their online customer service to find out why their code didn't work. 1st they offered me all kinds of "offers" what would require a deposit, I told them I wanted the bonus that was advertised. After much back and forth DORIS came back with a no deposit offer of $30..... I then told her again that the offer was for $40 on Casino Guru and then I told her I also tried a $50 no deposit code that was advertised on Casino-online.com which also didn't work and that by advertising both those deals and then giving something else was called bait and switch and that was illegal, within 1, she posted that I was "good to go" with a $40 credit.

 

Of course they still have not fixed my email verification problem, so if I should win, I won't be able to withdrawal which I am guessing that what they are hoping so basically this casino is worthless

Hello,


Thank you for taking the time to review my issue. After 5 or 6 tries, finally today when I clicked the link in my account on the Rich Palms Casino website, it sent me an email with a verification link that this time worked and my account is now verified (as far as I know)


To answer your previous questions:

1)Did you receive any message or notification when you have tried to activate the bonus? - Yes, when I tried to apply the coupon code from your site in the code box and pressed enter, red lettering appeared under the box that said the coupon was invalid.


2)Your email verification was not possible because you have never received the authorization email? - I received an email each and every time after I clicked the email verification link on their site...... however after clicking the link on the email and receiving the "congratulations you account is verified" message, I continued back to the Rich Palms website and again, the yellow box appeared when I went to "cashier" that still showed I needed to verify my account.


3)Did you communicate this issue to the casino? - Yes..I did communicate with the Casino via "live chat" after a bit of arguing they finally did give me the "no deposit offer" I was trying to apply but my email was still not verified until I tried again today and low and behold it finally worked!


Unfortunately, due to all this hassle, it has not left me with a warm and fuzzy feeling about spending my money there, I shudder to think what hoops I may have to jump thru should I want to make a withdrawal, so I probably won't make this one of my places to gamble on line.

Well.... I do want to point out that the "no deposit" code listed on this site absolutely did not work and after contacting live support they tried to switch me out to a lesser bonus, only after a bit of back and forth and mentioning that I was getting the "bait and switch" did she comply with giving me the correct deposit.


Obviously no money loss but a little "shady" business practices

I have already forwarded this issue to the competent department and they will take care of it. Simultaneously, I have tried to redeem the same No Deposit bonus and my first attempt was successful. 

However, I believe your feedback and experience will help other players. Thank you very much for making Casino.guru better.
