The player from the United Kingdom had deposited money using his girlfriend's card, won, but couldn't withdraw the winnings due to ID verification issues. Despite having provided the necessary proof, the casino continued to hold the funds and only a small amount had been sent to the girlfriend's account. This issue had been ongoing for 4 weeks. We found that the player had breached the casino's Terms and Conditions by using a payment method not in his name. Despite the player having provided ID for himself and his girlfriend, it did not change the fact that the rule had been breached. As such, we were unable to assist further and the complaint was rejected.

I deposited off my girlfriend card I have don’t a couple of times.has i was waiting for my new card to come.when I won the money I couldn’t withdraw has thy need ID.so I sent that then was asked who was the card I was useing explaining and thy then said they needed her prove that’s all bin sent over.and was waiting for them to reopen the account like the said.and now they are holding the money and put 42.50 in my girlfriend account has a good will gesture this has now bin going on for 4 weeks

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. I have checked the T&Cs, and this is what I found:

"All payment methods must be owned by, and in the same name of, the person registered on the Pink Riches account."


Furthermore, please check our Fair Gambling Codex for Players:

"Payments
For deposits and withdrawals, you should only use bank accounts and credit cards held in your own name. If you don't do this, you might get into trouble when trying to make a withdrawal. This rule is mostly in place to prevent credit card misuse and also because of international anti-money-laundering regulations."


Please understand that this rule has been breached. Some exceptions might be allowed by casinos when depositing or withdrawing funds using a joint card or this possibility is communicated beforehand. Technically it is very difficult to check who’s the owner of the payment method at the depositing stage. This can be checked only during account verification, which is usually done when a withdrawal is requested. Therefore, it is a player’s responsibility to use allowed payment methods only.

If you’re not able to prove that you are a legitimate owner of the payment method and you haven’t received approval from the casino allowing you to use a third-party payment method, I’m afraid there’s not much we can do for you.

Please note that this doesn't change the fact that you breached one of the main rules of online gambling by depositing with a payment method that has not been issued in your name. The casino just probably tries to ensure that you didn't use a stolen card. I am afraid that we are not able to proceed with this complaint because the casino acted in compliance with their T&Cs.
