Piñata Wins by PG Soft is set in the fictional town of Novella, where the main character - a girl called Aelia - waves her stick to try to bring down one of the colorful piñatas. But these piñatas don’t hold any candy - they hold potential wins of up to 5,000x your stake.

The game is bright and colorful, with an animated piñata hanging prominently at the top of the screen, and cheerful flowers in the background.

The upbeat backing track set the tone for a real fiesta - guitar chords and marimbas create a traditional Mexican atmosphere.

Gameplay

Just like other PG Soft games, Piñata Wins is made to be played on mobile. The game works really well in portrait mode, no matter what type of smartphone you’re using.

To bag yourself a win, you need to land at least three of the same symbols on adjacent reels from left to right on one of the 20 fixed paylines. The highest-paying symbol is a Mexican skull or calavera, followed by a sombrero, a set of maracas, and a delicious taco. You’ll trigger smaller wins when you land the number and letter symbols.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

Piñata Wins is packed with exciting special features like Wilds (which substitute for other regular symbols), Free Spins, and Multipliers.

The first thing you’ll notice is the Cascade feature, which removes winning symbols from the grid, allowing new symbols to fall into place.

During any spin, random symbols (excluding the Wild and Scatter) can appear with special gold frames. After any Cascades, gold-framed symbols that were included in a win during the previous round will be transformed into Wilds. Gold-framed symbols can land on reels 2, 3, and 4 only.

Gold-framed symbols with Multiplier values of between 2x and 100x can also appear at any time. Multipliers from winning symbols are collected after the Cascade.
