The player from Spain deposits €150 at Locowin, wins €9000, but encounters issues withdrawing the funds due to claims of not meeting bonus requirements. After a long validation process, the casino confiscates the winnings.
Good morning, on the 31st I made a deposit of 150 at Locowin and took the welcome bonus. Lucky for me, or so I thought, I won €9000. The surprise came when I went to make the withdrawal. At first, I had doubts seeing the amount of documentation they asked for to process the withdrawal; it seemed strange to me. But why be suspicious when I have several friends who played there? After a long wait, they finally validated everything. Here's where the surprise comes: they tell me I didn't meet the bonus requirements because I exceeded the €4 bet, even though at no time did I surpass that amount until the full bonus was unlocked. Today, 14 days later, they have "confiscated" the money, it has disappeared from my account, and I still don't have any apparent response. Of course, I've handed it over to lawyers, but the situation isn't very hopeful, since being a .com and having a tax domicile in Santa Elena... But I will certainly recommend all my friends stop playing here, and of course, to all the victims of similar scams on this website to contact me, as I'm preparing a joint legal action to try to shut down this site.
Best regards
Dear sessymbol24,
Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience. I checked the bonus T&Cs and I found this:
1.11. You may not place any bets that exceed the maximum bonus bet size when using bonus money. The maximum bonus bet size is 4 EUR (or the equivalent in any other currency) per bet/spin or equivalent unless it is stated differently in the specific terms and conditions tailored to each bonus campaign. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of the maximum bonus bet size. For cases where bets are deemed to have exceeded the maximum bonus bet size, an account may be reviewed, and the bonus funds confiscated in the process.
Our position is closely explained in Fair Gambling Codex:
The max bet rule is, in fact, an industry standard, just as the fact that a casino has the right to seize the player's winnings from bonus play after breaking this rule. We prefer not to go against industry standards by penalizing casinos that use the maximum bet rule against players from time to time.
However, if you feel like you have been accused mistakenly, feel free to forward me your game history together with a link to the specific bonus that you redeemed and played. My email address is kristina.s@casino.guru.
If there is any relevant communication between you and the casino, please send it as well.
Thank you in advance for your reply.
Best regards,
Kristina
