Gaming Curaçao (GC)

Gaming Curacao is one of four regulators for online gaming in the jurisdiction of Curacao, and was established in 1998. Having been granted a Master License by the Curacao government, GC is able to issue online gaming licenses to eligible operators, as well as offering hosting and fiduciary services.

Applicants must meet certain requirements with regard to financial standing and integrity in order to obtain a license, and will then remain under the supervision of GC to ensure adherence to the terms of the license and protect players.

How to check a Gaming Curacao license

It is always recommended to check the validity of any license a casino states it operates under, as there are some operators that have been known to display fake licenses.

To check a Gaming Curacao (365 / JAZ) license is valid, the easiest way is to click on the validator on the website of the casino. This will usually appear as a small, clickable logo:

Since 2013, every casino licensed by Gaming Curacao must display the seal of their license on their website, and it can usually be found in the footer at the bottom of the page. Once clicked, you will be taken to the validator page, where you can check the status of the license:

The license status should of course be "VERIFIED", but you should also check that the URL of the website is correct and secure (the part in bold will always be the same):

Submitting a Complaint

There is no specific procedure for submitting a complaint to Gaming Curaçao, and it is not mentioned at all on the Gaming Curaçao website. The only option that seems to be available to players is to submit a complaint by email to complaints@gaming-curacao.com.

Note:

It is important to ensure that you are contacting the correct authority when making a complaint. If you contact the wrong Curacao regulator, your complaint will be disregarded.

Self-Exclusion

There is currently no way to self-exclude from all Gaming Curacao licensed casinos at once. You must self-exclude at each casino individually, and instructions for how to request an exclusion should be obtained by checking the casino website or contacting the operator directly.
