Rusty and Curly is a Western-themed online slot designed and developed by Hacksaw Gaming. The slot centers around the titular two bandits as they search the Wild West for big wins.
Rusty and Curly is another humorously-designed online slot from Hacksaw Gaming. The game's two central characters stand at the side of the screen, with one of them being a tall, slim cowboy and the other being hunched over, shifting their eyes, ready for a shoot-out.
The slot's visuals are brought to life with some charming animations and a classic Western-style theme song.
The Rusty and Curly online slot uses six reels, each displaying four symbols. There are 14 ways to win on each spin, with winning combos formed of three or more matching symbols landing across a payline.
The slot has an intuitive interface, with the ability to change stake, hit autospin, and Buy a Bonus all located under the game-grid.
Hacksaw Gaming has loaded the Rusty and Curly slot with excellent bonus features.
The first players are likely to encounter is the Wild Posters. When these land, they can display Hearts and Multipliers. The Multipliers are worth between x2 and x10. The Hearts will display a number, which will correspond with the number of respins players will get. The respins end when the hearts hit zero.
The Stick to the Plan! Bonus spins are triggered when players land three FS Scatters. The bonus rewards six spins. During the round, there is an increased chance of Wild Posters landing. The Multipliers in the round can be x2-x10, x25, x50, or x100. There is an increased chance of Hearts being attached to Wilds, too.
Landing four FS Scatters will launch the Who Shot the Sheriff? Spins. During this round, players get 12 spins that are broken into three cycles. Each cycle consists of a Collect Phase and a Payout Phase. The Collect Phase lasts one spin, and the Payout Phase lasts three.
During the Collect Phase, Rusty, Curly, or both join the reels and expand into a Wild Reel. They then begin shooting Multipliers on the grid, with six the maximum they can hit. The values they hit are added to the Wild Reel during the Payout Phase. The reels then spin three times with the Multipliers in place. Landing additional FS Scatter symbols will add more cycles.
Rusty and Curly has a good math model, which is what we have come to expect from Hacksaw Gaming. The RTP is 96.29%, which is above the industry average of 96%, according to our slot strategy guide. The slot has been given a full volatility rating from Hacksaw Gaming, and the maximum win is 10,000x your stake.
Hacksaw Gaming are masters of delivering memorable characters and whacky themes, and they have done that again with Rusty and Curly. The slot looks fantastic, and it has a selection of solid bonus features to keep players engaged throughout. Throw in a strong RTP, a 10,000x maximum win and some highly volatile action, and you've got a winning formula.
